Chapter 26: Deep trouble

Mr. S's expression turned to shock, and then it shifted into rage.

"What did you just do!?" he shouted angrily.

Nolan snorted, dismissing the anger in Mr. S's eyes. "You know exactly what I did," he stated indifferently. "You shouldn't have crossed your boundaries. You shouldn't have referred to me as trash."

Mr. S laughed loudly, as if he found something amusing. "Did I just hear you say I shouldn't have called you trash? Have you forgotten your name since you left my employ?" he asked, with a pointed stare.

Nolan sneered. "Those are in the past. Back then, you used to hurl insults at me that should have been directed at yourself. You're the one who's trash!"

"You…" Mr. S gritted his teeth in fury. "How dare you say such words. I own a restaurant, and you own nothing. How can I be considered trash?" He felt provoked by Nolan's words.

"I won't waste my time exchanging words with trash like you. Get out of the way!" Nolan commanded.
