Nolan couldn't bear to endure their family issues any longer. He had already found satisfaction in the two slaps Mr. Linton had delivered to Mrs. Linton, making his presence unnecessary.

“Principal, I'll be heading back to my hostel room now,” he stated, preparing to make his exit.

“Wait,” Mr. Linton intervened, halting him in his tracks. His gaze shifted away from Mrs. Linton, fixing on Nolan with a sweet, genuine smile.
