Unfortunately I couldn’t do anything about it and had to keep to my side of the bargain.

That was how I came here, to the Academy of the Gifted to receive training to become an Explorer.

I didn’t think I’d see his face any time soon but as he stood before me again, the urge to hit him welled up within me.

As we were led out of the hall, I could only stare at his broad back.

A normal daughter would stare in awe at the wide back of her father, but I could only stare in disgust.
