“Give up.” Doctor Chen frankly replied and for a moment, I was too stunned to speak.

“but…”

“But what?” the doctor cut me off. “There are no buts. With the way you are, you’d be lucky to survive your first day on the field. You should understand that if your mind is unstable, you have already lost half the war already. What else is left?”

“I can’t just give up.” I dropped my head down.

I understood now what Isabella was worried about then.
