Chapter 27: It Was His Fault.

As Zaly got off the carriage, he celebrated with joy. “Is this the village, Zaly?” Geo jumped at his back as he hugged him. “Is this it? Is this it?” Geo yelled at Zaly’s ear, showing his excitement.

“Yes, this is it!” Zaly gazed at the sky as he shouted. “We’ve finally arrived." Zaly looked down at Geo, smiling shyly at him.

Four of them entered the village, walking slowly because of their nervousness about entering the village once again after days that looked like a whole century to them.

As they entered the village, a whole different feeling surrounded them. It was enlightenment. “I’m glad it didn’t change.” Zaly took a deep breath, as if he were finally at rest after the things they had to endure. Zaly fell to the floor; he lied there while looking at the hollow sky that had the truth. He felt surreal, and he was glad to feel that emotion.

“Zaly, take me on an adventure! Can you be my guide? Tell me everything about this village!” Geo hopped around his lying body. “I’ll try.” Zal
