Maverick Followed Hermione who seemed to be in command of the mission and James into a black vehicle and then drove off to where the portal was.

On the way, Maverick kept checking out the weapons he was gifted and was trying to get used to them.

In his past life, he had always used a sword and never a gun nor a Katana.

Looking at the design of both weapons, he could tell that they were both very good weapons with very good quality. Deep down he couldn't wait to use both of them,since he had been fighting bare handed ever since. He was especially looking forward to using the Katana more.

They arrived at the location of the portal, it was about 30 mins drive from the bureau facility, since it was just in the next town.
