"I told you not to come after me! You disobeyed my order!!” Jin berated Anabelle when they got back to the car.

Chloe sniffed in tears. “I’m.. I'm sorry master.” Her voice trembled as more tears poured from her eyes.

“Just drive this car!!” Jin barked at the driver.

The average old man looked at his master through the rear view mirror and asked.

“Where sir?” He asked politely.

A ferocious glare from Jin didn't only make him swallow hard, it also made him kick the engine to life and drove away.

Jin was still boiling in anger. He hit his fist on the backrest of the front seat in anger. “Jezz!!! How dare she!!” His voice startled Chloe beside him.

Just as they drove through the city, Jin ordered the driver to stop at the nearest restaurant.

The car stopped at Lumiere restaurant, one of the finest restaurants in Elf wood which is exclusive to the prominent men and elites in the city. It is not a place for average men but a sophisticated Sanctuary for clientele who are billionaires, celebrities, Royals.

Dining there is not about hunger– it's about status, indulgence, and a taste of the unattainable!

The building is a three storey building with the name; ‘Lumiere’ restaurant stylishly emblazoned at the top.

The building spoke of excellence and wealth!

The upper floor is meant for Mega VVIPs, the second floor is meant for the VVIPs while the lowest floor is meant for the VIPs.

The Hyundai Elantra drove into a designated parking lot in the restaurant and Jin stepped down heading towards the entrance of the restaurant.

Getting to the door, a huge guard dressed in black suit with a covert earpiece in his ear stopped him at the door, blocking the entrance by spreading a hand.

“No more entry!” The guard said firmly with a straight and uninviting face.

Jin frowned. “Then tell me why the door is widely opened when there is no more entry.” Jin attempted to enter the restaurant but the guards brushed him aside.

“Do you think here is a restaurant for kids?! Just get lost!” The guard eyed, his presence making his anger leap.

Jin was unmoved. He took a step closer to him, staring up into his face without batting an eyebrow.

"It’s unwise of you to treat a customer like this. It shows how unprofessional you are!”

The guards chuckled, slightly taken aback on how mature and intelligent Jin is speaking to him because he wasn't going to allow him inside regardless of anything.

“Talking about professionals. I'm being professional by not allowing people like you inside of here!”

Jin's forehead contorted to a frown. “People like me? What do you mean?” He was confused.

“Look around you, do you see people of your age and status here?! This isn't just an eatery! It's Lumiere!!” The guard started frantically, stressing the word ‘Lumiere’ like it's some kind of treasure.

Jin laughed slightly, keeping his hands in his pocket, his confidence firm “And do you think it's just about age and status? Someone who is old with a high status but lacks wisdom is as good as dumb!!” He concluded firmly.

The guards laughed. “A rich man is a wise man, boy. To be rich, you need to be wise.” The guard said with a little grin.

Jin laughed. “Are you wise?” He asked between his laughter.

“If you think you're so wise then why haven't you become rich or do you think being a guard makes you Rich?” He chuckled, mocking the guard who's fury had begun to leap.

“Step aside boy or I'll have to deal with you!!” He bellowed with his anger expressed on his face.

Jin snorted. “You see.” He stepped closer again with a taunting smile on his face as he began saying.

“All those who are wise are rich but not everyone who is rich is wise. A fool can also make money but can't maintain the money. Instead of venting anger on me, prove to me you're wise.” Jin smiled, putting up a challenge.

Nonetheless, Chloe had also stepped out of the car. He stood behind his master, listening to their conversations.

“How?” The guard asked.

“I give you just 5 minutes to earn $300 from three strangers. Not stealing and no begging. Do it the business way!

“If you do that, I'll give you extra $700 dollars and walk away but if you can't I'll enter and you'll have to go on your knees and now before me!” Jin said with a slight grin.

The guards snorted. “You think you can afford $700 dollars? Huh.”

“Try me.” Jin said simply.

The guard gripped his clothes, glaring into his eyes. “Don’t joke with me kid!” He growled.

Jin smiled and pushed his hands off. “Just do it.” He said.

The guard adjusted his suit and approached a man dressed in a white suit looking rich and maintained. The man was about to enter his car when Joe got to his car.

Joe, the guard, knew the customer as one of their VVIP members in the restaurant. Jin and Chloe watched him from a distance.

Joe cleared his throat and began with a pitiful and remorseful expression on his face. ”Good.. day sir..my daughter is currently on sick bed and the doctor told me to bring $300 dollars for her treatment. I’ll be glad if you can help me sir.” He lied, keeping the fake expression on his face.

“If you value the life of your daughter, you shouldn't be here. You should work for money instead of begging customers for a token.” The man said and drove away.

Joe was taken aback by his response. He glanced back at Jin and swallowed hard.

Without giving up, he approached three other people and it was all the same. He returned to Jin angrily.

“They’re all heartless!! I can't believe none of them gave me a dime!! He shrieked, lamenting out.

Jin merely laughed and said. “I’ll try that.” He said and walked to a customer who parked his car along the road- a man.

Jin smiled at the man. “Good day sir. My name is Jin. Did you know parking in this space comes with a fine of $500 dollars?” He said.

The man was slightly surprised. “Oh..I never knew and moreover..I have always parked my car here.”

Jin smiled and pressed on politely. “It’s a new policy sir.” He said simply. “Alright then.” The man said before handing him a $500 note.

Jin smiled and left.

He displayed the money before Joe who was surprised.

Jin met just one person and he came back with $500 dollars while he couldn't even achieve that after meeting four prominent people.

“How did you do it? You begged?” Joe's eyes widened slightly, curiosity glinting within.

Jin smiled with one of his hands in his pocket. “A wise man earns with every opportunity. Do you believe a man who is wise is rich now?” He said simply and gave the money to the guard.

“You have it.” He said.

The guard who was earlier rude suddenly became respectful to him. “Thanks sir. You're really wise! Will you teach me how to use opportunities to make money, sir?” He requested with a smile.

“Just be wise and..you know we have a deal but forget about it.” He said, waving his hand at him dismissively.

The guard quickly opened the door for him, bowing in respect.
