Unlike the monstrous creature, the little girl found it almost unbearable being near, for her ears were covered by hands to lessen the terror which followed. Nonetheless, she knew. Whatever stood in her line of sight was a “monster” that could not be fathomed. As in that moment, she understood that the blue horned figure, stood at the apex of all monsters. *** Within secure lines, the Knights, who aimed their blades previously, retracted in advancing further to assess damage done to their forces. For now, they met additional obstacles not commonly associated with Abyss. “If they’re aiming for our Knights near the ground, it is logical to fly over. We have the means to. So, firstly cutting down the boss should take priority.”

An apparent darkness covered Cai’s entire body. Suddenly being flooded by negative emotions of anger and regret, Cai’s ego was intertwined in a cold display of bloodlust and a sense of madness. A terrifying sight spread across the far ends of the land from one side to another side. Fires caused by differing causes such as car accidents, leftover appliances turned parts of the city into veils of flames, accompanied by sunshine which dyed the surroundings in a dark red, almost glinted at a possibility of hell. To coordinate a shield which could hamper the flow of battle, crescent ships diverged from each other a further distance away and stationed themselves atop skyscrapers and other high vantage points in anticipation of shooting down bypassing Abyss. *** As expected, a stomping of the ground signaled at it. Appearing from a nearby block, a 9-meter class monster crashed way across the street. In everyone’s thoughts so far, even for creatures that were significant in size and presence, and out of the Abyss’ radar, pets and flying birds perched onto tall buildings could tell that when advancing, the larger Abyss came with pounding footsteps that made the ground quake numerous amount of time. To that quaking, the confrontation occurring at that exact moment, exceeded all other previous instances of clashing. The battle which unfolded was of a scale that all other counts between the Knights and the horde paled in comparison. Immediately, a massive dust cloud rose from the ground each time the figure of blue and its multiple enemies threw punches to each other. For once, the Knights’ force was ignored. As a thought at the back of the mind, Knight’ eyes glistened. They could not believe what they were witnessing. After all, something as miniscule as they were, appeared at the center stage of towering monsters able to topple any mountain in their thunderous advancement.

At immediate notice, the hound’s mouth sprouted blue flames. As if they trickled out the jaws, the size of the flames appeared to increase in size and in heat. A deadly aura was emitted. After some time, the black hound aimed at the approaching group and fired. A sphere of blue flames illuminated the nearing area in a surprising embrace. Seeing a delayed reaction, an approaching fireball was a perfect choice for striking awe rather than struck by fear Abyss to await an untimely end. And a massive explosion blew them away, quite literally. Scorched remains flayed into the air and landed everywhere, then, began to fragment. After the deadly attack, the blue flames coated the ground and flared unimpeded. However, the strenuous battle would be beginning once advancing a fewer steps. “Boss,” is the equivalent to a leader who exercises control and makes decision of an organization or gathering of individuals. A figure which stands at the top of the hierarchy and enforces authority! This position is granted to some through differing reasons as recognized hard work, family connections, bribing or through other malicious manners. Regardless, standing at the top brings additional benefits and additional responsibilities. However, in the world of Knights, boss is title given to Abyss of a higher degree in power. For creatures that normally cannot coordinate themselves and have little to no intelligence, they still chose a key figure in their gathering. And the path in which this figure is determined is not through financial wealth or determined through birthright. Not forgetting that through this unknown individual’s strength, they were able to turn the battle. Still an individual with unknown intentions and move on its accord, killing what it saw unchecked. The figure’s attention lied not in their direction, rather at the far distance. Allied Knights would float at a near height. Immediately, in a instant, the Knights and each living creatures altered alarmed by an approaching presence from beyond the massive stretch of land. Though, the true origin of a sudden presence could not be specifically located, winds from the underlying area also blew to the Knights positioned near. Gathered Knights found themselves perplexed by it. Suddenly, the rumbling of something caught their attention. At a single side of the vast stretch of land, monstrous creatures donned in a multitude of unsightly appearances advanced further into already rampaged land and once again made their presence felt by all creatures near, though not all of them made way towards the secure lines of the Knights.To the monsters’ group, the concentration of the force left was evidently clear. As if those creatures knew already that this was the last time they would clash with opponents of a flying kind, opponents who undoubtedly held up for this long even after being crushed and pulverized, the number of enemies was steadily declining due to their efforts.
