" Citizens of the New World our supplies are running out. It is with great sadness to say that we might not be able to continue providing the commodities you need. It has not been a secret to us that since the break out of the apocalypse our planet was already running out of resources to sustain life, thus, this leads to greater elimination of humankind. So with that, as the game creator, I am bringing the game to a higher level, an epic game that mankind has not experienced yet!"

The crowd mumbled in objection at Jimmie's speech. That epic game he's saying was giving them anxiety. Yet though they blabbered loud about it, still to no avail, for Jimmie was communicating to them via video message.

" This I do because the least commodities we have deserves to be given to those who were deserving to survive! This planet of ours is on the verge of extinction and it has got no space for the weak!"

Jimmie said, and the video announcement ended.

That's all.

It's been weeks since he rele

The halo is the basic angel's life force. In the universe realms, they have a name that was different from the human language-- boundless beings, that's what they were called. And when they appeared on planet Earth, and have become visible to human eyes, they were mistaken to be aliens, the ugly, ruined version of them was even called monsters, but those who were good-looking and impressed mankind with their abilities were called angels. But for Jimmie Vaughn, for the Vilgroi, these creatures only go with one name -- boundless. Yeah, they were boundless beings some of them had been bounded to him perhaps for forever slavery. Some of them had sided with the Outsiders. That's what their definition of freedom is, perhaps they find a more meaningful sense of life by fighting with Carsen and the Outsiders stand for. Yet, these boundless beings, or angels whatever they were called, perhaps will only find real freedom once they get back home, to their respective realms, to their land where t

"Okay, so here's the plan, If before it was only the humans who were pressured to join in the game, and some of the Outsiders' watchers and that Usiu, now I want the game arena to be filled with boundless beings, with what this planet called---angels," Jimmie instructed his team of boundless that's handling the game operation. "Boundless? You mean m--master," " Yeah, I mean the epic game will be for anyone!" Jimmie exclaimed. "Does that entails the boundless who sided with Prime?" one of them asked. Hesitation trailed on his face, yet he curved a smile right away. "Y--yeah, of course," Jimmie replied. Meanwhile, Muriel who was quietly observing the conversation in the side, looked at Jimmie doubtedly. Of course he knows where this plan is leading. "I already have foreseen and calculated Jimmie's move..." Carsen's words echoed in Muriel's thought as he watches Jimmie talks with the boundless assigned in the operation of the game. "So, master what will be our remedy for tho

"Remember, they don't easily give their alliance to anyone. They're unfriendly. They're elusive of all the boundless," Orin's words echoed in Carsen's thoughts. Now they were into searching for the few Abojans left alive on the planet. How could they remain unnoticed, and unheard with all the chaos that happened in the universe realms and on this planet, how could it remain undiscovered that they were just here, residing with humans? Perhaps because they weren't boundless nor humans, they stand between grace and curse, that's why. Carsen thinks. As Tadhiel told him, the Abojans are the type of Nephilim who were the only ones left alive on the planet. They are a genetic combination of humans and angels. Those who succeeded in fleeing from the Vilgroi had lived deserted, disguising themselves as among the humans. As a result, they have had offspring that were neither angels nor humans. These Nephilims were raised to survive, so they were trained with various skills, and one group of

There were weapons pointed at them when they tilted their heads. Carsen noticed that the Abojans are taller when near perhaps because of their abnormal physiology resulting in gigantism in genes. However, due to interlineage, the Abojans that were in front of them now were smaller compared to the known Abojans in the past, yet the giant genes were still noticeable in them. Massive shoulders, huge body built, and 8ft tall of their average men. Well, even so, this kind of physical build will be very useful in the game. "Who are you? Why are you here? How did you manage to get through our barriers? How did you see us?" They were bombarded with interrogations as soon as they get on their knees. While Carsen didn't show any resistance, they're here to win them. The next thing was they were dragged into the biggest hut in the village. Carsen could assume it's the communal hall. He saw the huge bald man waiting there, based on how the rest are treating him, he could tell that he is their

The Abojan sneered, "Why would we listen to you? You haven't proven anything to us yet!" Carsen smirked at Dizal , " Haven't I just cornered you? Don't you even wonder how I get to crash your monster?" Dizal scoffed, the corners of his mouth quirked up in unsatisfaction, " Should I expect petty tricks from an Emanator?" he said. " Your creation ability, We want to see more of that! Have you mastered it? Tamed it? If not there's no point to risk our alliance with you," Dizal said. Carsen and Usiu exchange glances. They both know that Carsen couldn't give what the Abojan leader is asking to see. Yeah, now, somehow, Carsen had cultivated that ability, but it was not enough to defeat the Vilgroi. Yeah, he can wield it, but not always. It's untamed. It's unstable. He had not yet reached full control of it. That's why he was not using it always, sometimes that ability comes out unintentionally, when needed, like in some edge encounters he had, but he couldn't rely on an ability he ca

That Abojan is a prick! Carsen was pissed as he watches Dizal walks out, joining the others, hunting. Wait...or maybe he was right. I am not thinking smart lately! Yeah, he's right for so long, Jimmie Vaughn has been acting like the predator, he's the one in control of the game, he's the one hunting, first on the players, and it has gone worst, the entire world has become his game world until he controls all of it. Jimmie Vaughn is hunting his prey, and there's not even a single true hunter out there in the game arena. "Well, it's time to have one!" Carsen whispered. ---The Next Day - Carsen and MurielIt had been pouring steadily on his raincoat for hours at this point, and in the back of my mind, the sound had long ago faded to a faint rush. LizieLizie wiggled her finger as she came back to consciousness. As when her blurry vision adjusted she noticed she was in a different environment. Looking around, she felt some nostalgia, yeah, this is how it feels before in the game world. There were particles of sand on her feet, and the scorching heat was striking her skin. She grasped at her nose. Gone is the bleeding. And so is that whistling piercing sound. Where am I? Lizie looked around. She's on a sandy beach that has lost its beauty. The seawater was foaming with dirt. It was beyond the low tide, there were algae everywhere. And she could sense that the salty air contains toxins. She loves to go to the beach when she was a kid, but if beaches were like this, she would not dare go. Lizie gets on her feet. Her body was sore. She began walking, finding her way out amidst this strange place. "Jan! Guys! Where are you?" she called, yelling. But she seemed to be alone, cast out on an island. Oh, island, she doesn't even kno

"So, to be summoned to the game, you need to hear the whistling sound?" Carsen clarified. Muriel nodded. "Where is that whistling sound exactly came from? What was that?" Carsen asked. "It's part of the flute's abilities, the Vilgroi's talent. Music manipulation affects the auditory sense and consciousness of the hearer," Orin interrupted. He switched the monitor and discusses what he discovered by studying the information which Muriel handed to them. It turns out that even the summoning to the game was manipulated by the system like everything in there was programmed. It's a good thing, they have access to that through Muriel, it's just that, some parts are beyond his control, it's either Jimmie himself or the other boundless involved who have access to it. Nevertheless, it's enough that at least they have an idea about how Jimmie's so-called epic game works. They will use this information to their advantage. The world in Jimmie's epic game world is basically operated through

Everything in the cosmos has become a void. Almost a third part of it has fallen into blackness and emptiness. At this moment, Prime had been transported back to planet Earth but nothing was left in there. This planet has been long in desolation but this time it is very different, even dreadful, even emptier from the previous. Perhaps this is the earth's worst state. The planet has come into the void, and what was left were just vast barren, dry lands. There's not even a single drop of water. The planet is no longer the blue planet, the life-sustaining, and Prime knows that it would be just an hour before this entire land would disappear, and this planet would turn into just -- "a darkness", like those what happened in the cosmos. Seeing the planet's most devastating state, seeing its travail, and dying state, Prime couldn't help but be overwhelmed by emotions. He's late. There's not even a single life he had caught in here when he arrived, and that's so disappointing. Remorse, yeah, h

The High Council's realm is a serene scenery. It is so beautiful that it gives the beings there a sense of peace. It also has a kind of vibe that will make anyone feel in awe and somehow hesitant. But Prime Emanator has been used in this place. He no longer felt any intimidation. He moved inside. His steps were sure to where he was going -- to the Council hall. When he arrived there, he was met by a group of creatures in their human-like figure, yet their aura tells they aren't humans. "Oh, so gate did not reject you!" one of the Council commented. "We can see that you are now completely back, Emanator," one said. Prime ignored their comments. He has no time for that. "I bet you all know why I'm here," he said. The council who were sitting at the center seat raised his eyebrow for Prime's snobby attitude. "Careful, know where you are and who you are talking to," said the council. Prime scoffed, " I wonder if you still could act like high and mighty when all of us here got w

The stability of the planet was just a temporary relief but it was never the cure to what Earth is going through right now. Today is another menial day for the people. Some were bustling down the streets. At least now, though in a short time, city streets had become alive, again. Though there were remains of ruined buildings, at least the streets are no longer ghost towns. People are starting to go out and live their normal human lives. Friends and families gathered for a common work, for a meal, while the rest of humanity are beginning to get up again. It was particularly interesting to watch everyone having life in these busy streets, some walking busy, some walking leisurely, they're the symbol that the planet is now recovering. "This is disheartening to see," Talyn whispered. She was there in the side street, observing, and perhaps guarding. Usiu didn't reply for he felt the same way too. These humans didn't know that the peaceful lives they were enjoying now were just tempora

Carsen's brows furrowed, "What then?" he asked. "The battle you'll be in in the next days no longer needs combat, but it will be a battle of abilities, of powers. If you really want to stop the Vilgroi, you need to surpass him," Tadhiel explained. Then, his gaze trailed at Carsen from head to toe. " Aside from that the High Council will reject you, you won't win against the Vilgroi with that state of yours, so human, or a superhuman? No," Tadhiel stated. Carsen sighed, "Okay, so what are we going to do here?" "I will guide you in tapping into your full state as Prime Emanator," Tadhiel said. "Uh, but wait, erasing my humanity would that mean I'll forget all my memories as Carsen Adams?" he asked. Tadhiel chuckled, "No, you're not like the Vilgroi, that thing happens only when on

    The Song Of Destruction

The gathering of all the gems in the pillar was the collapse of the entire game world. Because of that, no game realms would exist on planet Earth no matter how powerful the Vilgroi and his boundless are. Carsen and the Outsiders made sure of that. With the help of the supplies and lands they personally cultivated, and together with those gems, the Outsiders were able to at least restore the planet's vegetation a little. Such a thing has a big impact on human lives for that means, now supplies, food and all the basic necessities they need for living would no longer be denied of them. For a little time, the world was back to its normal state where the people's lives had been lived normally like before Jimmie Vaughn rose to power. However, Carsen Adams, and the Outsiders, know that this isn't the end yet, that there's still a threat out there, and perhaps there will be until the Vilgroi is alive. Now Carsen is on his way to the trail to the pillar to collect the last gem he needed on it, the cruxible. "This is perhaps the last time I will be helping you dude," Takii said to Carsen. "I'm already quite obvious to the other hunters." Carsen tapped Takii's shoulder, " It's fine, bro, thanks for this anyway," he said. "But if I may ask, the game hunters, what are they?" Takii's brows furrowed, " What do you mean, what are they?" "What are they? Like are they like you? A human?" Carsen asked. Takii laughed, " Of course, but unlike the players, we weren't given choices to side with. Our allegiance must be with Jimmie Vaughn alone, and what I'm doing now would certainly risk my life." Carsen sighed, " This is the last time you'll going to be doing this anyway," he muttered. The trail to the pillar is extremely dangerous compared to the others he has gone to. Takii told him that it was a different world there beneath the portal, yet he needed to accomplish it all in a design

" I'm opening the cell gate now, master, but I can't guarantee your powers will work out fine when you guys come out," Talyn informed Carsen. They were still communicating through telepathy. "It's okay, Tal, I don't have time to play this game, can you give me some information about those voices we heard in our headphones?" Carsen asked. Talyn swiped the large monitors in front of her, and as she did so, certain images popped out on the hologram screen. She was quite surprised to see who were those. "Uhm..master based on the voice recognition here, it's Adeleum and Mihr," she told Carsen. "Adeleum? Mhir?" Carsen muttered. "Mihr?" Usius interrupted when he heard what Carsen had just uttered. Carsen turned to him and asked, " Yeah, why?" Usiu's eyes gleamed at the recognition of an old friend's name. Yeah, how could he forget such a name? Mihr and he grow up together in their realm. He was a childhood friend. Mihr even learned first to sing than him. He used to look up at hi

Carsen's eyes lit up as he sensed the Adeleum and Mihr's arguing. Although it isn't clear to him who's the creatures behind manipulating them into this game, he could sense right now, that whoever is behind this, they're not on good terms. My ability is working despite the unknown. Now, what I needed to know was to learn who are the boundless behind this! Sadly, I can't communicate with Talyn. Carsen thought to himself. The cell gate sounded again. This time, the game soldiers are fetching another player. The players hold their breath, expecting that one of them will be chosen to face their death. "It's now your turn, doctor!" Todd was startled at what he heard on his headphones. His face went pale in fright. He looked around as if asking for help from his fellow players but he knew that they couldn't. Todd looked back at his co-players when the game soldiers took him. Meanwhile, Dizal banged the cell in frustration. "We must get out of here!" he muttered. He then turned to C

The cell gate opened. The players all hold their breath anxiously. This time, the first one to play was called. It was Jair. Hearing that, Lizzie broke out in tears and begged she'd replace him instead but the operators were too deaf. It's unusual this time that there aren't any explanations or rules given before they were called out, before the start of the game. The more reason that the players get nervous. They wonder about the uncertainty, and they know its possible danger so it's scaring them. The rest of them remained quiet, while others had violent reactions. Like Lizzie who was crying on the floor now, and Dizal who was hitting the cell door and cursing at the cameras above them. While Carsen on the other hand just sits calm, thinking in the corner. "Urgghh!!! Let us all out of here!" Dizal was screaming. He tried to throw some force field on the cell bars but it just bounced. The prison cell where they are held is indeed resistant to their ability as Carsen said. Aside from
