Carsen couldn't believe it.

"Yeah, and it seems that Dash and Robin are with him," Talyn added which made him even more shocked.

How did it happen? I thought we were the only ones who were in this game world. Carsen thinks.

"East corner of the maze, that's their location, master" Talyn repeated.

"Okay, going there!" Carsen replied.

"What is it? What's that look?" Lizie asked.

She noticed Carsen's face and the way he looks at her, tells some problems concerning her.

"Talyn spotted Jair," Carsen told Lizie.

The group was surprised.

"Jair? As in Jair Santana?" they exclaimed. While Lizie couldn't believe what she had just heard! So that confirms that what she saw the last time at the house party might be real, that it wasn't just a slip of vision, but she really saw Jair that time!

"He's alive?" Lizie exclaimed with teary eyes.

Carsen nodded.

" Yeah, but we have a problem. We need to be moving quickly, we're timed. We still have two instruments to collect, and a friend to

"How's Jair?" The players asked Todd. They just want to know one thing--if he can make it because the tune will sound anytime and that would mean they would be running again in this maze. "I think, he can run but not that quick," Todd replied. And they weren't mistaken. When the morning come, long before they even get out of bed, the players heard the tune reverberating in the entire maze. They know that's a cue for another set of tasks to be done here in this -- Name the tune to identify the instrument game round. "What music instrument is that?" The players looked at each other as if looking for answers in each of them. The players covered their ears for sometimes the sound is piercing, and thin like it will shatter their eardrums. Then in a moment, it will become soft and like a rain pattering. "Did you hear that?" Carsen asked " Yeah, the sounds hurt our ears!" Dizal commented. Carsen shook his head, " No, guys, it seems that the sound is coming from a glass instrument

"Lizie!!" The players screamed. They're expecting that Lizie had now exploded into pieces as she was very near to the perimeter. The players landed their faces on the ground and rose coughing, bruised, and messy. "Lizie?" They were still worried about her. That was a strong loud blast! It won't keep anyone alive. "Where's Lizie?" Jair asked, worried. It was just seconds but it seemed like forever. The thought that Lizie could have been killed by that blast torments them, especially Jair. They froze for a moment, staring at the cloud of thick dark smoke. But then after a moment of silence, they saw Lizie coming out of it, unharmed. Her clothes were torn, burned by the fire, but her flesh wasn't, her skin remained unscratched. Rather, she emerged out of the dark smoke, burning, fiery, with the glass musical instrument in her grip. The players chuckled. They were relieved. "That was such a badass entrance babe!" Jair commended Lizie. Lizie smiled at him. Then she turned to Car

"He's Orin's friend?" Carsen exclaimed. The other players quickly turned their gaze at him. He grinned and pointed at his head. "Telepathy...I'm communicating with someone through telepathy," he said. The players nodded. Anyway, he wasn't expecting he would hear such a thing from Talyn. How could Orin be friends with one of the Vilgroi's strongest boundless? More so his inner circle? "How could that happen?" Carsen asked. He heard Talyn sighing from the other end. "Long story," she replied. "Anyway here's the thing you guys need to know with Seraph." ---Flashback - Orin and Seraph"Why haven't you attended the class a while ago?" Orin asked Seraph. He finds the Seraph sitting alone beside the water fountain. He looks so engrossed in the water that dances with music. "Seraph?" Orin called his friend's attention again. He's his friend. He cares for her. And he knows that the instrument elders would be punishing him next time for not attending the lesson today. "Becaus

"How will I know you are telling the truth?" Carsen asked. His face darkened. He does not trust this boundless. He raised his hand and his weapon appeared in his grip. He spun it and then pointed it at Seraph. His nebula eyes glistened as if telling his opponent that he was ready for war. Seraph scoffed. "I like it when your eyes do power show just like that, Prime Emanator. It was as if you could solve anything with that," he said sarcastically. "Again, I cannot give you the instrument!" Seraph muttered with a firm voice as he drew out his weapon too, a winged sword. And the two clashes. Seraph manipulated the battleground. He filled it with water for that was his strength. The two moved at a powerful speed, leaping upon the maze walls as if they were just walking on it, swinging their swords, in defense and offense. The waters splash amidst them, making their combat simply fatal. They were both skilled fighters that none of them could make even just a scratch on their skin.

"So, what now?" The players are now standing on the edge of the waterfall cliff. They had been running away from the game hunters who were chasing them. It's annoying how Jimmie does not honor his own rules in the game. They weren't supposed to be chased by these game hunters because they won in all the wounds. They were able to collect all the instruments needed for them to get out of the maze. Yet they still end up getting sabotaged in the end. "Carsen, the game hunters were instructed to hinder your group from getting out of the maze!" That was Takii, the game hunter who secretly turned to their side. "What? But we won in this maze race!" Carsen insisted. "You know from the start how this world rules!" "Okay, guys! Hurry! We need to leave very quickly now!" Carsen yelled, instructing his group to move now. Talyn, hey, we need your mapping for us to get out of here quickly! Carsen contacted Talyn through telepathy. From above, from Talyn's point of view, Carsen and the p

"The waterfall something is in it!" Jair shouted. How could he not know? This is the same feeling he felt when he lost his abilities too. "How are you feeling now?" he rushed to Lizzie who was still coping for her breath. "I feel like more human..now," Lizzie replied. "Tsk..tsk...being human isn't good in a place like this, at least you guys have your advantage, but...what now?" Todd commented. "Perhaps the question is, how did it happen? Given that it is only you, and Janesi who have lost their powers," Dizal stated. "The waters...there's something in the water!" Jair repeated what he was saying a while ago. "The Vilgroi had put something in the water to erase all the abilities given by the flute to you guys," Carsen interrupted. "The flute seems to have the ability to bestow power to any humans and at the same time take it back. The Vilgroi had used the water in this fall as an agent to remove what has been given to you, guys as if it never had existed in your body sys

Everything in the cosmos has become a void. Almost a third part of it has fallen into blackness and emptiness. At this moment, Prime had been transported back to planet Earth but nothing was left in there. This planet has been long in desolation but this time it is very different, even dreadful, even emptier from the previous. Perhaps this is the earth's worst state. The planet has come into the void, and what was left were just vast barren, dry lands. There's not even a single drop of water. The planet is no longer the blue planet, the life-sustaining, and Prime knows that it would be just an hour before this entire land would disappear, and this planet would turn into just -- "a darkness", like those what happened in the cosmos. Seeing the planet's most devastating state, seeing its travail, and dying state, Prime couldn't help but be overwhelmed by emotions. He's late. There's not even a single life he had caught in here when he arrived, and that's so disappointing. Remorse, yeah, h

The High Council's realm is a serene scenery. It is so beautiful that it gives the beings there a sense of peace. It also has a kind of vibe that will make anyone feel in awe and somehow hesitant. But Prime Emanator has been used in this place. He no longer felt any intimidation. He moved inside. His steps were sure to where he was going -- to the Council hall. When he arrived there, he was met by a group of creatures in their human-like figure, yet their aura tells they aren't humans. "Oh, so gate did not reject you!" one of the Council commented. "We can see that you are now completely back, Emanator," one said. Prime ignored their comments. He has no time for that. "I bet you all know why I'm here," he said. The council who were sitting at the center seat raised his eyebrow for Prime's snobby attitude. "Careful, know where you are and who you are talking to," said the council. Prime scoffed, " I wonder if you still could act like high and mighty when all of us here got w

The stability of the planet was just a temporary relief but it was never the cure to what Earth is going through right now. Today is another menial day for the people. Some were bustling down the streets. At least now, though in a short time, city streets had become alive, again. Though there were remains of ruined buildings, at least the streets are no longer ghost towns. People are starting to go out and live their normal human lives. Friends and families gathered for a common work, for a meal, while the rest of humanity are beginning to get up again. It was particularly interesting to watch everyone having life in these busy streets, some walking busy, some walking leisurely, they're the symbol that the planet is now recovering. "This is disheartening to see," Talyn whispered. She was there in the side street, observing, and perhaps guarding. Usiu didn't reply for he felt the same way too. These humans didn't know that the peaceful lives they were enjoying now were just tempora

"So, how would I achieve that kind of state?" Carsen asked Tadhiel. He flexed his grip and his Mithril came out. Tadhiel clicked his tongue, " That's not just that," he muttered shaking his head. Carsen's brows furrowed, "What then?" he asked. "The battle you'll be in in the next days no longer needs combat, but it will be a battle of abilities, of powers. If you really want to stop the Vilgroi, you need to surpass him," Tadhiel explained. Then, his gaze trailed at Carsen from head to toe. " Aside from that the High Council will reject you, you won't win against the Vilgroi with that state of yours, so human, or a superhuman? No," Tadhiel stated. Carsen sighed, "Okay, so what are we going to do here?" "I will guide you in tapping into your full state as Prime Emanator," Tadhiel said. "Uh, but wait, erasing my humanity would that mean I'll forget all my memories as Carsen Adams?" he asked. Tadhiel chuckled, "No, you're not like the Vilgroi, that thing happens only when on

    The Song Of Destruction

The gathering of all the gems in the pillar was the collapse of the entire game world. Because of that, no game realms would exist on planet Earth no matter how powerful the Vilgroi and his boundless are. Carsen and the Outsiders made sure of that. With the help of the supplies and lands they personally cultivated, and together with those gems, the Outsiders were able to at least restore the planet's vegetation a little. Such a thing has a big impact on human lives for that means, now supplies, food and all the basic necessities they need for living would no longer be denied of them. For a little time, the world was back to its normal state where the people's lives had been lived normally like before Jimmie Vaughn rose to power. However, Carsen Adams, and the Outsiders, know that this isn't the end yet, that there's still a threat out there, and perhaps there will be until the Vilgroi is alive. Takii's brows furrowed, " What do you mean, what are they?" "What are they? Like are they like you? A human?" Carsen asked. Takii laughed, " Of course, but unlike the players, we weren't given choices to side with. Our allegiance must be with Jimmie Vaughn alone, and what I'm doing now would certainly risk my life." Carsen sighed, " This is the last time you'll going to be doing this anyway," he muttered. The trail to the pillar is extremely dangerous compared to the others he has gone to.
