chapter 8: The hurricane demon

Her eyes bewitched them, putting them under her hypnotic spell. "If you love me. You will drown for me."

Instantly, men were jumping off the ship, into the ocean. Xorn had to hold Dior from jumping overboard.

Josh was walking towards the woman on the squid and his parents as well. They all walked like zombies.

He didn't know what to do. He didn't even know why he himself wasn't hypnotized.

Her song was music to his ears, it was too pleasant to the ears. He had to do something.

Josh was standing at the edge of the ship, about to go overboard. "Stop what you're doing, you fish face!" he yelled, grabbing the attention of the woman.

"Oh, someone isn't under my spell. How fascinating." She chuckled. "Well, if I can't make you drown, I might as well crush you to death." She cackled and the tentacles of the massive beast grabbed him off the ship.

All the humans seemed to have snapped out of it and were climbing back on board the ship.

Thankfully, his distraction had worked, but now her beast was crushing his bones. "What an annoying little creature. Boo, the humans are no longer jumping. ahhhh he did it purpose."

"In your face, you fell for it!" he forced out a laugh, as his bones were puncturing his lungs.

"Ugh, how irritating? I hate humans who think they're smart the most." She hung him upside down, and he was staring at her ridiculously bright skin.

She clapped and he could swear that he heard the sea move in response. "I'll rip you in two and crush your little girlfriend." She giggled.

That triggered him. He clutched the stone in his pocket again. "Give me strength." He muttered.

She laughed, "Saying your last prayers, little one?" she snickered.

"You bet," he yelled. Using both his hands, he loosened the grip of the squid's tentacles around his foot.

This shocked her for a few moments and he twisted around in the air. Using the air currents, he grabbed the tentacle mid air and leaped up in the air.

Landing a kick squarely on her chin, the force pushed her and the squid back into the water. A large wave following as he landed on the ship, rolling till he made impact with a pillar.

Everyone stared with their jaws hanging loose before a loud roar followed. They were cheering for him and Dior ran over to him, pulling him into her arms. "Oh my God, don't do that again. You scared me.

I thought I was going to lose you!"

Tears were streaming down her cheeks and he forced a chuckle, since his entire trunk hurt like hell.

It was too early to be celebrating, though, as a mighty wave arose in a large spiral, many monsters arose from the sea. All of it going in circles.

They held their breath as the sky change and a dark storm brewed in the freaking! summer.

Her eyes glowed white and her hair flew around her, the mighty wind surrounding her.

Great whales, sharks, electric eels all arose from the ocean in their hundreds.

"I am the hurricane demon."

The lightning bolts became more aggressive.

They were too weak to fight. Screams came from all directions. "Here is my offering to you my Lord, their screams."

There was no were to run to. They were trapped, with nowhere to go, only death awaited them.

"Xorn what are we going to do?" his mother panicked. His Father folded himself in a ball in a corner and Josh backed into a corner as well.

The ship was sinking.

During the chaos, Xorn held Diors hand. "I will be with you even in death.

I will protect you till the very end, so don't let go no matter what, okay?"

She nodded. "I'm not going anywhere."

Something heavy crashed from the sky with a flash of light. Leax stood before them dressed in armor of glass. "Sorry, I'm late. I was taking a nap."

"Well, it's about time!" Xorn yelled

She shrugged like she couldn't see the amount of people getting eating from the ship. "Now to end this annoying sea food buffet."

"You ugly freaking tentacles." She yelled at the top of her voice, drawing Devila's attention.

The hurricane demon stared at the frail blonde tiny human. "What exactly are you?"

"You never heard of me? I'm a gamer. The most famous gamer." She said with a devious smirk.

Devila looked bored.

"You humans have so much audacity you even dare to challenge the evil god!"

Leax cracked her neck squatting she stretched her limbs as she stretched. Xorn could swear her body enlarged from a frail woman to a voluptuous vixen.

"You're not very smart, are you? You're wrong. I'm a machine. I was bred and raised to kill gods, and so behold."

She was no longer frail. Her pink and gold eyes glowed.

"I am the god killer. " Raising her hands up, she pulled her Katana from the sky. It landed in her palm with a gush of wind.

The heads of the monsters followed as well, blood splashing from every angle.

The force causes the waters to part into a massive wave and the wind gushing fiercely.

She was fast and swift, only we could see flashes of light as she moved, followed by the gust of as glass particles.

The ship left the ocean spinning around in the hurricane, everyone they held on to whatever they could find except Leax, who still maintained her stamina.

Golden transparent wings sprouted from her back, she flew high in the air.

Devila gritted her teeth as her squid threw its mighty tentacles at Leax and Leax sliced them.

Making the monster scream in pain, its scream deafening as its huge tentacles fell.

It crashed on the ship, breaking in two.

"Shit!" Xorn yelled as the force of the hurricane lifted them into this thunderous, mighty storm. He was losing his grip on Dior. He was losing consciousness.

The spins made him nauseous, irritating the vomiting centers in his brain.

He collided with a pole; the force knocking the wind out of him.

Leax fought the demon. It was a fierce battle ending with her Katana driving into the demon's hearts. "Killer Glass Shatter!" he heard her inhumane voice.

Multiple glasses pierced through her skin and blood of gold power.

The sea roared with anger enclosing over them. They fell, swallowed by its waves.

Someone screaming his name. It was. Dior, somehow, she was in Leax's grasp up in the sky.

While the water suffocating him, at least he was grateful. She was fine.

"Grain!" Leax commanded, followed by a flash of lightning from the sky. Grain ran on very tall vines the size of the tale jack and the beanstalk.

Josh's voice screamed for help, "Save me! Please help!" he yell holding onto a piece of wood in the turbulent sea.

His parents' voice followed behind him, his guests all screaming for help. He couldn't save anyone, not his parents, not his best friend, not Dior, not even himself.

He was weak.

In the middle of the sea, massive moving sea weeds sprouted from the sea.

That was the last thing he remembered as he sunk deep into the depths of the sea.
