Chapter 278: Goals and Dreams

Ezra who was still dazed by the name on the business card, came back to his senses when he felt numerous gazes on him. He raised his head to see everyone looking at him with burning gazes and the one to confront Ezra was actually Rudrick.

“Hey Ezra, are you the heir of an ancient hidden family or did you fucking rob a tomb of someone with equivalent status?!”

Ezra actually found it strange that he and Rudrick could converse normally as though they hadn't tried to kill each other just a few days ago. He also didn't hate Rudrick or hold grudges against him which was even stranger because if someone tried to kill and eat you, you'd definitely hold a deep grudge against them.

“Something like that.” answered Ezra awkwardly.

The three years that Ezra had gone off radar wasn't a training period or an act of lying low, what he was actually doing was accumulating wealth to fund his organisation. He worked very hard and recruited powerful subordinates to take over both City E and City D. Al
