CHAPTER 141

James got to the police station and demanded to see the man that was in charge of the truck, but at first he was denied access as he wasn't a lawyer or any of that sort.

After making some phone calls with allowed to have a conversation with him since the latter wasn't convicted yet only held in the interrogation room.

So James began to question the truck driver known to be Adams, wouldn't say a word for fear that he would lose his wife and kids.

"How much were you offered by that woman? Tell me right now I need answers or I would make sure I lock you up in here." James uttered.

"I didn't do anything wrong, how many times am I going to tell you that I did nothing wrong? I was just driving and my thoughts were somewhere else. I didn't intend to hit them. If I did, none of them would be alive and besides I'm not even convicted in jail because I didn't kill anyone, it was just a minor accident." The truck driver uttered.
