As gas bubbles form on the surface of the swamp water burst into malodours, the smell of toxins and decay fills the air. The croaking of dozens of frogs fills the air with such substandard melodies it almost drove the samurai mad hearing it. The water was so thick and dark that visibility was impossible.
"What group of people choose to live in such a place?" Kiyoshi thought to himself as he traverse the wasteland. Outside the swamp, Kiyoshi finds a small pond. The water wasn't one hundred percent clean. But it would have to do to wash the mud off the samurai's clothing. As his clothes dry on some nearby trees. The two arrived in the fishing village of Nghe'o. A poor fishing village with a small community of no more than two hundred people. Only a few structures were built on land as ninety-five percent of the population were fishers as even the soil quality was poor and hardly anything grew besides weeds. The villagers, even though poor, looked contented and even happy with their quality of life as the children run and play in the streets. The nightmares soon turned into night terrors as the vivid pictures of a young Kiyoshi being bullied by young boys by the river grew sharper and sharper inside Kiyoshi's head. Suddenly creepy hands appear out of the depths of the river but unlike the past nightmares, the identities of the entities behind the hands were finally revealed. Pure black humanoid creatures emerged out of the water. The creatures resemble Kivuli as they were faceless and pure black in color. But unlike Kivulo who was made out of shadows, these creatures were made of a thick black fluid that dripped off of them.They also had three horns on their heads and bat-like wings on their bats and a pair of smaller wings on their heels as well as a long dragon-like tail.
