The rainfall in Tervord city is much higher than in any other town, although its summer may not be as hot as any other, perhaps because Tervord's forest is vast. It's not that the city is out-of-date, but tervord is no less advanced than the cities around it.
"Are you feeling any better?" Alana walked into Ashley's room, bringing him dinner for his daughter.
Ashley turned and smiled. "It's better than yesterday."
"Thank God."
Lana puts the tray on the table next to the bed; then, she sits on the edge of the bed and puts her hand on Ashley's forehead. The heat was down, and Ashley wasn't as dry as yesterday; Lana sighed relief.
"Eat before taking your medicine. What do you need to feed, mom?"
Ashley shook her head quickly. "No, I'll manage."
She woke up and leaned back, and Lana took the bowl of warm porridge and gave it to Ashley.
"Thank you." He smiled slightly.
Ashley looked down at the porridge, her appetite wasn't healing yet, but she couldn't possibly let herself lie here any longer. She has a class to attend, and she shouldn't dally.
"Eat your food, drink your medicine and go to sleep."
After saying that, Lana came out of her daughter's room; Ashley watched her mother until she closed the door. Looking back at the porridge bowl, Ashley took a deep breath. The stew would be good, but because of illness, she was not interested.
"Finish it, Ashley, don't make yourself even more miserable." She said.
Ashley gave up after spending half of her meal, and she couldn't do it anymore, so if push made sure, she would spit it out. After waiting a while, she took her medicine and lay down against the window where the curtain was left open. It still rained even though it was not entirely clear this afternoon.
Slowly her eyes were closed, and Ashley was fast asleep. Just a few hours later, Ashley was restless, sweat broke out of her forehead, her forehead was also wrinkled, and Ashley's head was moving to her right and the left like someone was having a nightmare.
Ashley flinched, and she sat down. The sweat ran down for forehead; her face was pale, gasping for air, and she had a rapid heartbeat. In that condition, lightning struck with a tremendous amount of volume. Ashley was startled while holding her breast, and it was genuinely terrifying.
She tried to control herself and slowly began to calm down. Ashley looked down at the hands on her chest, and for some reason, she felt a slight pain, which was not from shock, but this was something different. Her chest was punctured like something, and from there, the pain she felt.
"The pain felt very real. How come." Ashley wiped away the sweat from her forehead and cheeks.
Again thunderstruck, the light went out. Indeed if it were to strike something, it could have been the tree in the neighborhood because it sounded so loud and close.
Ashley put her back, trying to sleep but couldn't. The dream she had just had flashed across her head that dreams were not very clear, but she knew for sure that it was not a beautiful dream, which was terrible. She saw herself in a not fine condition, lying in the middle of the pasture.
Ashley decided to ignore it, convinced the dream she had was just a dream, nothing more. Though there is still a slight sense of anxiety, she takes a deep breath and closes her eyes again.
"Morning, mom, dad." Ashley sat in the chair across from her father.
Shaun, busy reading the newspaper, turned to him. "Are you all right? She saw Ashley with a probing gaze until her forehead furrowed.
"I've been all right." Ashley poured the contents of the nearby milk boxes into a glass.
"Really?" Shaun asked inclusively.
"Yes, I'm fine." She drank the milk in half. "Where is Alice?"
"Going for a run," Lana answered from the kitchen. "What can I make you?"
"No, mom. Just bread."
Lana sighed; she went up to her daughter and stood there waisted. "If you don't eat, how will you be able to attend school next week?"
Ashley smiled stiffly. "All right, I'll eat. But I don't want to eat solid food."
"Oat, I'll make you an oat." Lana's moving into the kitchen again.
"Thank you, mom."
Alice came in with a red face and sweat soaking through the neck of her loose T-shirt. She ran to the kitchen and got a bottle of cold water from the refrigerator, and drank it. She was so relieved after she finished the water.
"I saw a fallen tree at the crossroads."
"That tree must have been struck by lightning last night." Ashley said.
"The weather's still bad. It was better for you two to stay home. "Shaun said. "I go first." He left the dining table.
Shaun Collins and their father worked as cops in the city while their mother, Alana Collins, opened a drug store. They're both busy with each other's work over Shaun.
"I have an appointment with a friend who wants to study together." Alice says.
"Be careful, don't forget to call mom if anything happens."
Ashley went back to her room after breakfast, and now she was alone at home. She reached for her phone and sent a message to two of her friends, asking them to come right away. Vina and Ferra came to visit her at ten o 'clock in the morning; Ashley welcomed them with swollen smiles.
"It's been a long time since I've seen you. Are you feeling any better?" Vina handed her a bag of cake that she had brought from her mother's store.
"Yeah, what's this?" Ashley took a peek at that plastic container. "Cake, thank you." Her smile grew more prominent.
"No problem."
"Are you alone at home?" said Ferra.
"Yes. My parents worked as usual and Alice more prominent study groups." She replied. "Let me make you a drink."
Ferra turned on the television to avoid quiet while Vina sat quietly next to her. It wasn't long before Ashley came over with a brew and a plate of sliced cake. The three of them spent some time talking, discussing everything Ashley had missed during her illness and some other things.
The three of them promised to go to the city park this morning just for a walk, and it's been a while since they went to the park. Ashley was already at the park; her home was not too far from the garden, just twenty minutes away on her bike.
"Sorry, I'm late."
"I just came too." Ashley answered.
"Ferra hasn't arrived yet?"
Ashley was just about to answer, and she saw Ferra running towards them.
"Come on."
No way they're just going to walk around here, and Ferra will take Ashley and Vina for a run, at least one round. She reasoned that running was good enough to exercise stamina and build up stamina, and seeing Ashley prone to illness, Ferra compelled her to exercise with him.
"That's it. I can't do it anymore." Ashley's breath hunted down; sweat flooded her forehead, and her face flushed.
"Ok, I also give up."
"You two are." Ferra looked at the annoyance of her two friends. "Ok, I'm gonna run another round."
"We wait there." Vina pointed to a long chair.
Ashley sat up, straightening her legs, watching those in front of her as Vina went to the supermarket to buy drinks.
"Drink up." Vina handed Ashley a bottle of mineral water.
"Thanks." The cold water soaked Ashley's parched throat. So refreshing.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I wouldn't be sick if I just ran a loop."
"Don't push yourself."
"You worry too much. Don't make me feel like I have a terminal disease." She looked intently.
"Ok, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."
Before Ashley came home, she got a message from her mother to get her something and asked her to take it to the drug store. Ashley strolled to her mother's drug store; she wasn't paying attention to the road. As it moves across from the left, a black pickup misses control and leads to where Ashley is standing.
To her great surprise, she didn't know what to do, but suddenly her brain was empty. She stayed completely still where she was beaten. Some people who saw Ashley shouted at her to get out of the way, but she didn't listen to them at all, as if she were deaf.
As the pickup pulled so close, Ashley suddenly pulled over; the black car crashed into a shoe store and smashed into a window. It happened quickly, and she was lucky that there were no casualties.
Ashley flinched when she realized that her elbow had pain, but the pain went away when she discovered a giant hand was holding her tightly, a man's hand; her heart was beating fast. Ashley bit her bottom lip; she didn't know what to do now.
The tug slipped before Ashley spoke; reflex, she looked back to see who had helped herself. Her eyes widened, which enabled her to be Alouise Altair, Louise. The black-haired, handsome man woke up; Ashley still froze to see Louise patching his shirt.
"Are you all right?" She asked. Louise's face looked flat at Ashley.
Ashley blinked. "Y-yes, I-i'm fine." She rises.
"Thank you for saving me." She said quietly.
There was no answer, Ashley looked up, and he saw Louise standing up and about to leave. Ashley hurried to her feet and pressed his arm, noticing that the man's clothes were torn and wet. Its blood.
She looked at Louise for a moment and then went back to look at the man's arm; she opened her torn sleeve and found a cut long enough behind it; Louise's hand bled out, and Ashley grimaced.
"This needs to be treated right away. Come with me."
Louise grabbed his hand. "No need."
She looked Louise in the eye. "You are hurt and must be treated immediately before the infection." Ashley said firmly. "My mother's store is not far from here, and let me patch you up as a thank you."
Louise sighed; he didn't want to get involved with Ashley. He just wanted to get away from her no matter what, but looking at the girl's seriousness, he couldn't do anything about it.
"Come with me." Without waiting for Louise's answer, she grabbed him.
While Ashley was holding Louise's arm, she did this unknowingly, and Louise let it go, not letting go of Ashley's fingers tightly holding his arm. Shut up, and he looked at Ashley back with a look that was hard to decipher.Ashley said she would take him to her mom's drug store; yeah, Louise knew where the store was because she saw Ashley there. His attention was focused only on the pretty girl's long curling fingers. He kept avoiding her, refusing to get close to her, knowing and the like, but he was the one who approached Ashley, so he said it was annoying. Louise threw his face away, but he refused to look at Ashley anymore.Ashley entered Lana's drug store and found her mother serving a buyer, their eyes crossed. The forty-year-old woman wrinkled her forehead; she looked at Ashley and Louise alternating. She was finished filling Lana's shoppers with those two in the chairs."What's wrong?" Lana asked her in amazement."There's a first-aid kit, isn't there, mom? My friend got hurt,
Ashley flung herself against the chair quite roughly, somewhat offended by how Louise had looked at her earlier. A second later, she smiled; it struck him as if he was such a man Ashley forgot. What kind of treatment does she expect from Louise, a sweet treatment? Seriously, Louise is the coldest man she's ever met."Why are you smiling by yourself?" Ferra was surprised to see Ashley smiling without cause."No, nothing." Immediately a smile flew from her face, and Ashley misbehaved.Louise saw Ashley sitting with her two friends; the girl looked severe. He made his way to the table where his friends were sitting. He glanced at Ashley briefly and then began to take his assignment seriously."Again, this weather, when it will clear up." Dale sighs."You've lived here a long time; no, you should know that the city is often foggy," Galan said without looking at Dale, focusing on the book before him."Sometimes get goosebumps when I see fog. It's like a lurk back there.""It's your feeling
"Last night, I heard you were waiting alone for a bus at school, right?""Yes.""You can call your father or me." Lana sat down next to Ashley; she took a loaf and dipped it in soup."I don't want to bother mom and dad.""No problem, baby." Lana put the bread over the plate and covered Ashley's face. "If something is wrong with you, how? You're trying to give me a heart attack."Ashley's cheeks swelled. "Don't overdo it, mom.""Not at all. It's only natural for a mother to worry for her children." Lana detached her hands from Ashley's face."I'll buy him a car," Shaun called."Oh, sweet." Alice just left the room and sat next to Shaun; she was mocking Ashley."What!" Ashley rolled his eyes."Nothing." That morning they had a quiet breakfast.Ashley scrambled her hair; her face grimaced; she was frustrated with the book. She repeated it three times and hasn't been able to understand the subject."Arkh! Damn it! Why am I so stupid!" Ashley was screaming."Don't be like that; your hair w

A green-eyed black cat looks at her closely; it has short hair and looks gaunt. Ashley knelt and put the broom next to her and called the cat. The little black cat hesitated to approach Ashley but eventually did."Hi, who are you? Why are you in my yard?" She sniffed the cat."Ashley, are you finished?" Lana came through the door."Mom, can we keep him?" Ashley got up and turned to face Lana with a cat on her back.Lana's brow furrowed. "Where did you find that cat?""In the cellie, mom. Poor thing, this cat looks hungry.""You may. But you have to take care of him."A bright smile flashed across her face. "Thank you."Ashley sped up her work, and she couldn't wait to bring the cat into her room. Several times she turned to see if the cat was still at the door. He's still enjoying some of those sausages that Ashley picked up earlier. Finishing her work quickly, Ashley brought the cat to her room."Well, now I must call you by what name." Ashley sat cross-legged on the bed, and on her
Five messengers from Farand reached the city of Tervord this afternoon; an engaging delivery was made. It was more like an instinct that brought them to this place. How can they not be questioned? They are in the habit of searching and spying, sometimes where they radiate a certain aura that attracts them to visit, and Tervord is among them.Something in this town attracts them, but they don't know what. Tervord was not a big city but not a small one. The city, nearly surrounded by the forest, gave Tervord a distinct attraction free of cool air. One of them heard there would be some festival for Tervord's birthday, and they were interested in seeing it."Very crowded, not very different from the festival." One of them said."It's hard to find them in this crowded place." He added."Not necessarily here.""We split up," said the little long-haired man who was their group leader. Without waiting for a word, five of them will scatter. There are so many people here; luckily, they've chang
The man didn't see anyone in the tree behind either. So it's just his feelings, then he continues his search.Almost to the tip of Louise's hand, he had already got a suspicious move from him. Though he hadn't been fighting for a long time, his instinct was still very sharp, and before he looked up, he moved into the tree behind him.Louise never knew the name of Farand's vassal because to him, and it didn't matter, the only one that Louise knew, the man was the most talented of all Farand's minions, Randa. The skinny man who had been enslaved was set free by Farand; Farand trained and gave him a name, and he was raised as his own.Louise remembered that Randa was a hard worker and never once defied Farand's orders, and he always gave Farand his best. His powers are also not trifled with; he's pretty gifted."Looks like my search warrant, which is why Randa is here. If it is Serious unanimous recording." Louise said. "I have to get rid of Randa and keep him away from this place."He c
From a distance, he saw a girl who had just gotten off the bus and was walking to the big building across the street. For a long time, he recognized her. Her posture, face, and hair reminded him of someone in the past."It cannot be contagious. This is impossible. She's long dead." His head shook. "That the girl couldn't have been her. Maybe it's just a coincidence."Randa knew that she looked just like her from the side. True, in the human world, they say some resemble the inhabitants of Deuglasia, but as similar as that, question after question comes to Randa's mind."I have to be sure."If the girl were correct, all hell would break loose, and that bad thing would happen again. Randa decided to delay his search for a little while; he wanted to ensure something. He's going to wait till she comes out and follows her. While Randa was busy with his mind, his focus was lost, he lost his mind, and Louise had just arrived inside the school. I noticed a strange little turn; the front yard
"Ynir gets it. Hahaha."Louise smiled. "Never.""Don't get me wrong; I tell you because you're important.""I do, and I thank you for that information." You do the taboo thing, and you could die.""Who will punish me in such a state," Louise smirked."I'll give you a chance; get out of this city and never come back or be harmed.""What?""Dead.""Tsk! I'll be back." The woman jumped on the water tank and the fence, and the next building disappeared.Louise comes up to Masha and shakes her, and Dale is nailed. He didn't believe what he had just seen, a woman capable of doing things no human could, and Louise knew her, much less she said, and Louise was the same.'What does it mean? Who is this Louise person? Dale leaned his body against the wall, his heart beating unstable."What is Louise doing?"Dale goes into Masha’s living room, his sister like a night of deep sleep, but is still in a trance. Louise was there, too, sitting next to Masha; when Dale walked in, Louise stood up."Wher
Galan was hungry, and the hospital cafeteria was out of operation, forcing him to buy food outside the hospital. It's still raining, and it's quite heavy. After a tour of the restaurant that was still open, he finally decided to buy only fast food, which was all that was open."The town is too quiet, it's not midnight yet but it's quiet and it's like a dead city," he said. The smell of fast food made his stomach hungry.Galan went into the hospital running, without a jacket or an umbrella. The hospital was empty, and he met only guards and night-shift nurses. Galan had a slight chill down the quiet and narrow passage, and there were only a few vivid lamps to light the passage. The non-disabled man stopped and looked back, there was no one there, and Galan walked back. Once in the hallway leading to Masha’s room, he stopped and looked back. From far away Galan, it was like seeing a passing shadow and then lost; it was unclear who. He began to feel uneasy; Galan rushed to Masha’s room,
Masha had a high fever since last night; she went delirious, saying things incoherently. It happened yesterday; Masha was found unconscious in the yard during a heavy rain. Ginny was so surprised to find Masha lying unconscious. The morning Dale took Masha to the hospital, the young girl was treated immediately. Dale wouldn't tell her parents about Masha, he didn't want them to bring Masha back, Ginny only agreed to her grandson's wishes."I didn't go to school today, my sister is sick." Dale called Galan."How is she now?""Still out of it," Dale retorted."Wake up quickly, and I'll be there."Galan went to the hospital with Louise and the others; they were worried about Masha; Dale told them that his sister had a weak body, so he was concerned when Ashley suddenly got sick, but Dale didn't worry too much."How's your sister?" Louise asked. They met in front of Masha’s living room and looked through the bedroom window, the curtain next to Masha’s bed was revealed, and they could see
"Are you going to say it?""There's nothing I need to say, and I'm the one acting like a child.""So be it." Louise sighed. "Where are you going?""Go home.""Want me to walk you?"Ashley shook her head. "No, Thanks." Ashley shut her eyes. "I'll give you your jacket back after I wash it.""You don't have to give it back.""Can't be like that.""Just wear it; it seems like you like it.""No." Ashley squinted.Seyra smiled as quickly as she saw Ashley making up with Louise, and then she accidentally saw Louise coming after Ashley and herself following them. Seyra sniffed; no matter what she tried, it did not work.Louise ran into Seyra in front of the history class, and they looked at each other for a long time. Seyra isn't afraid of any of it, and she's displaying her confident face."What did you tell Ashley?""What do you mean?" Seyra's eyebrows are up."Don't try to fool me.""I didn't cheat you for what?""Tell me the truth!""I'm just saying that you had a girl in the past and los
"You're hugging me so tight.""Are you blushing?"Ashley shook her head. "Not at all, quite the opposite; I like it.""Whenever you want me to hug you, just say it.""I sound like a pervert." Ashley sniffed."Hahaha, of course not.""I feel strange things.""What?""I'll say it again. Yeah, I know it's probably just me feeling," Ashley says. "But I know you; I've long known you. Isn't it weird?" Ashley chuckled."If you feel that way, think of it that way. I like it better when you're around me.""Thank you, your existence is like a cure for me. It hurts less every time you come near me."Louise chuckles. "Not bad, also treated like medicine.""I'm just trying to be honest.""I know."Louise made Ashley uncomfortable, unaware he could make Ashley feel this way. Ashley thinks as long as Louise is around her, everything will be fine. Louise's big hand gently stroked Ashley’s head; the girl's current feelings can't be explained in words.Whatever comes next, Louise will keep Ashley away
Ynir was already where he had dumped the failed monster, forgetting where he had left it. So he went around the woods all by himself. Ynir heard from Sadana that the prince's search warrant was given to Farand, but he couldn't find it."Prince Louise, it's been a long time. How's it going."Ynir rarely saw prince Louise; he saw him only a few times and never spoke to him. Prince Louise is strange and unapproachable, which is a natural thing. According to his observations, prince Louise would be an excellent king beyond Dyras, and his reality was far from what he had imagined. The prince became the emperor's candidate, and this was beyond his prediction."If only prince Louise hadn't disappeared, he would currently be in charge of Deuglasia," he said. "Maybe.""Where is the boy now?" Ynir suddenly remembered someone who had also disappeared for a very long time. Ynir continued his journey.***Ashley’s dream began to grow, and this time she saw the face of the girl called the princess.
"I feel like backward continue this way, it hurts less when you're around me.""Weird.""Very.""If I'm around you, won't it hurt you?""I don't know, but it's possible.""Then I'll be near you.""Hahaha, you’re a freak." Ashley laughed. "What's wrong with you? You look like the Louise I know.""What do I look like?" Louise turned."Scary, in my eyes you're scary.""It's just an illusion.""You're right, it's just an illusion.""If your head hurts let me know.""Yes, you did.""Whatever you may think of me." Ashley chuckled.Louise drove Ashley home after the rain stopped, along the way Ashley slept in Louise's jacket. When he got out of the car, Ashley gave the jacket back but Louise declined it, telling her to wear it."I think I'll sleep better tonight," she murmured as she watched Louise's car pull away.Ashley entered the house with a small smile, and she pressed Louise's jacket against her, so warm. She ignored the puzzled gaze of Lana and Alice who watched her until Ashley was
It was getting late, Seyra had just met a man who looked at her, and he could easily have fallen into Seyra’s hands. Seyra ensnared a lot of men and did whatever she liked, all the time being interested in Louise but he never saw her. Just lure him away with Seyra because of the enormous power differential. Ever since he got to know Ashley, Louise's days were filled with that girl, the same height as Louise. The only girl Louise ever really protected. The big news if Ashley believed to be long dead turns up next to Louise and is most likely the reason he left Deuglasia because of Ashley. Whatever Louise did, it gave Seyra goosebumps. Louise was the kind of person who would do anything to get her way and it wasn't weird that he would try to bring Ashley back to life somehow."Louise is horrible, underneath that handsome face he's a horrible man."Seyra let the man who was accompanying her lie with her, and he died after she had finished playing with him. Her wishes are being fulfilled
Miguel returned to Hovers after a few days, and along the way, he thought of Ashley. Homesick, of course, he was eager to see her face and wanted to make sure that Louise kept his promise. "What's going on?" The train carrying Miguel stopped. The grinding sound of horses. "I shall see to it, Your Majesty." Mathias came off the train. Up ahead are six Minotars blocking the train. The six escorting Miguel take their positions, two at the back, two at the right and left, and then two at the front. The soldier with the chariot draws his sword. Mathias walked forward, he took out his sword. "What's wrong?" Miguel asked the soldier who was at his side through the window. "Six Minotars are blocking us, Your Majesty." “Minotars? How did it end up here?" Miguel's eyebrows are intertwined. "Get it over with." "Fine." A short battle ensued, and Miguel sat quietly in the carriage. The sounds of Minotars screaming and shouting came and went, only six and it wasn't a big deal, but the soldie
