The tension was high between Constantine and the soldiers as both of them stubbornly faced confronted each other.

As soldiers, it was understandable that they would be rather rigid in their approach toward unknown entities in a hostile environment. No one could fault them for being cautious and expecting Constantine to meet their demands.

Unfortunately, Constantine could be rather stubborn himself, too. As a teenager, Constantine was in that phase where his hormones raged and he became unruly and rebellious. Most of the time, he was well behaved due to this proper upbringing, so his stubbornness was not clear normally. But now that Constantine had come in contact with the extraordinary and he came to experience an incredible burst in strength, his unruly behavior was normally suppressed came to light at this moment.
