After understanding the reason for the doom's constant invasion of earth and their relentless targeting of humans, Constantine no longer thought about it anymore. In any case, now that he was still in the doom world, he couldn't do anything about it at all.
Besides, it's not like he had to care in any case. It didn't really matter to Constantine whether the dooms targeted humans or not, as long as his family was safe. He couldn't be expected to save humanity all by himself... that was the government's job.
Probably the only thing Constantine could do was understand as much as he could about the invasion of the other world, and then he would see if there was a way for him to decimate this knowledge to the government and other humans on earth.
Having come to this conclusion, Constantine addressed Ruger once more and asked, "I understand the role the dooms play in this invasion. So then tell me, how is Earth also responsible for what is happening so far?"

In the vast desert landscape filled with fields of sprawling sands and high rising dunes, Constantine sat in deep contemplation. His mind was working fast to fully understand the things he had just learned from Ruger.Needless to say, earth's situation sounded grim when Ruger explained it in detail. From his words, there didn't seem to be any hope of earth winning against the otherworld. All the things it did were like the wailings of a drowning man who was in his final death throes... futile and damning.Feeling incredibly glum, Constantine asked Ruger doubtfully."Is there any hope for the Earth to survive this ordeal from the otherworld and are humans really going to be doomed to extinction?"It wasn't like Constantine was asking because he cared a whole deal for earth or the human race in general. Like most people, Constantine could barely care about the people he interacted with daily and he didn't concern himself very much with what went on in his n
"Why are you warning me of this?" Constantine asked Ruger doubtfully."Shouldn't you be more than happy to lead me around the nose so I could bump into one of those of your friends who could help you take over my body? I don't think you're generous enough to consider my well-being by warning me like this."Constantine was curious why Ruger would warn him about the dangers of relying solely on his memories to pave a way for himself and his family in the universe. From his understanding of Ruger, he wouldn't do anything unless it benefited him. Strictly speaking, the warning he gave to Constantine just now was unnecessary because it did not benefit Ruger in any way.In response to Constantine's question, Ruger asked, "Why do you think, genius?""It's obviously because I can't go out having people seeing me in this state. What would people think if they find out that I, Ruger Whitebrook, a once in an eon son of the firmament, was in a miserable state?"<
Was it worth it?To put his family's lives in danger by telling them the truth... was it really worth it?Constantine thought about it for a moment before he came to a conclusion.Whether it was worth it or not, was not up to Constantine to decide. No matter how things turned out, even if dangers really were going to come after them, then Constantine's family had the right to know exactly what they were likely to encounter.Constantine didn't want to make decisions for other people based on what he felt was right for them. He didn't want to be the sort of self-righteous guy who thought they were keeping others' best interests at heart when they were actually just being selfish. If there was a matter that involved another party, then Constantine preferred it if that party was actively involved in the said matter. He believed that a person was entitled to the right to make their own decisions in matters that affect them greatly no matter what the out
"As I said, the reason you can no longer increase your strength as fast as before is that you have reached the upper limit of your current strength. The best way to understand this is like this...""Take a bottle, for instance... imagine your body to be an empty bottle and your powers as the content that fills that bottle. The process of you growing stronger is actually you building a body that can perfectly contain the enormous amount of power that is contained inside you. Initially, your body is like an ordinary plastic bottle and your power is like acid or hot lave. Naturally, it is impossible for a plastic bottle to be able to contain acid or lava. That is why you need a stronger bottle, or in your case, you need to build a stronger body.""Are you following me?" Ruger paused his explanation and asked Constantine."Yeah, though my previous body being likened to a piece of plastic bottle is quite harsh but I am following nonetheless," Constantine replied.
Having learned what the true nature of constellation lightning from Ruger was, Constantine could definitely say for a fact that his body couldn't bear its full power at all. The only outcome of having so much stellar energy inside his body would be to have it crumble to ash. Finally, Constantine understood what Ruger was trying to tell him...When Ruger said that his power was enough for him to grow stronger, he literarily meant that the power contained in his body was only at the level of what he could currently endure without combusting into flames. With the constellation lightning power in him and having a body that had already adapted to it to the extent that it wouldn't be destroyed, all Constantine had to do was train his body to be able to grasp full control over his immense powers. This way, he would be able to reach the full potential of his current strength. This was in essence Constantine's limit to how much power his body could control. Once t
Far in the distance where Constantine was looking, he could see the signs of a sandstorm visible in the air. This was not a surprising sight to see in the desert. If there was any sight that was not missing in the desert, it was dunes and sandstorms. In any case, a sandstorm usually signaled that a herd of dooms is on the prowl. Normally Constantine would have gone ahead to investigate. But now that he had decided to rest, Constantine was not interested in going over at this time.Still, the thing that drew Constantine's attention to this particular sandstorm was its scale. The size of the sandstorm was unusually large... it was much larger than the few he had come across during his training. The Sandstorm was a few kilometers away from Constantine's location but as time looked; it was only a few meters away. This was just how large it was. Compared to the other sandstorms Constantine had come across, this was one of the largest. It was second only to the sandst
"It doesn't matter how they got here," Constantine said."Right now, they are clearly in trouble and are just barely holding on. We need to help them!"There was an urgent tone in Constantine's voice as he looked ahead at the sandstorm. From the distorted waves of energy fluctuations, Constantine could roughly guess the situation inside. Without a doubt, the humans were in a lot of trouble and they were just barely holding their own against the dooms as they ran for their lives.Their situation was kinda like how Constantine was when he had first appeared in this world and he was chased by a large herd of dooms as he was sent running for his life. Right now, Constantine could guess that the humans were in the same situation as he had been then.Currently, Constantine was not thinking very clearly... knowing that there was a group of humans in trouble. The first thought in his mind was to go over and help them, and he did not consider the exact circumstanc
"What has suddenly come over you? Answer me, brat... what the hell do you think you're doing?"Ruger screamed loudly at Constantine, who completely ignored him as he continued heading towards the sandstorm. By the time Ruger could say anything else, Constantine had already dived inside and was heading straight towards the center. At this moment, it was already too late to stop Constantine. In the end, Ruger no longer yelled at him. Instead, he was silent for a moment before he asked simply."Why?"It was a single word, but Constantine understood the intended meaning behind these words. Without stopping, Constantine answered Ruger."You said that I have to bear with it now because I am weak and that when I get stronger in the future, I can prevent something like this from happening again. But I don't think I can wait that long...""I know what it's like for you to be in a desperate situation where it seemed like there was no way out for you.
