After a few simple congratulations, Esther stepped down from the stage to the regretful gazes of the audience.

"May I sit here?"

Esther approached, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

This scene made Derek immensely uncomfortable.

Had he and Jonathan swapped places, he would have been at the receiving end of Esther's playful wink.

"Of course! This spot has been reserved for Miss Esther. Certainly, you can sit here!"

Not waiting for Jonathan's response, Derek stood up, introducing himself while urging Jonathan to make room: “Hello, Miss Esther, I'm Derek. Nice to meet you. Brother, could you scooch over a bit and make room for Miss Esther?"

Jonathan reluctantly moved his chair to the right to create room for Esther.

"Hello, I'm Esther."

Initially, Esther wasn't interested in Derek, but when he called Jonathan 'brother,' things changed.

Derek stared at her intently, and Esther might have even returned a smile.

Watching Esther, Phoebe couldn't suppress her laughter, finding the idea of her
