028 - Too Late!

After learning some information about the weakness of Dilophocaballus, those officers share about it to the other police stations through radio. But then they receive news that the monsters that have been attacking residents in other locations are now running away to the forest area.

[I don’t know why. They just behaved strangely, and then abandoned us]

“What about the situation over there?”

[We..., we couldn’t even save anyone here]

“What? How many of you left?”

[There are only eight of us. And most of us are badly injured. I’ll try to check on the condition first if there are still survivors around this area]

That one cop puts down the radio with a desperate face. He looks so tired and pale with a face wet with the cold sweat. There is also that symptom in his face like it’s burning from under his skin, albeit not too clear.

He has contacted every police station in the city. All of them gave similar feedback. Only his sector alone looks far better than the rest.
