The CEO of Vernon's corporation, Harry Vernon, had commanded his personal assistant to work even harder on finding the woman he had a night stand with five years ago. He needs to find out the truth as soon as he can so he know how to punish Debby. 

The sex he had with the strange woman five years ago happened because he drank himself to stupor. A few hours before that night, he and his pregnant girlfriend arrived in his house after going for a party. He didn't expect for her to suddenly slump and die. All efforts to revive her was futile so he stormed to his club that night and wasted himself to alcohol. Up until today, he hasn't healed. 

He didn't want to believe that the woman he had sex with then was Debby. 

While in his office, a call came through to his phone and seeing that the caller ID was Horace, he answered it and asked," any positive news about the woman?" 

"Yes, sir," Horace responded. 

Harry sat upright and curiously asked," I'm all ears." 

"We have a lead pointing us to one miss Edna, she's most likely the one but we are not hundred percent sure, yet sir, " Horace said. 

"Be here soon, we are heading over to her house immediately," he commanded. 

"Got it, sir." Horace said. 

About thirty minutes later, about eight cars pulled over before a big mansion. This was where Edna and Alice, her mother are living. 

Seven of the eight cars were hilux cars containing Harry's bodyguards while the eighth car was Harry's Mercedes Maybach. 

The guards jumped down quickly from their hilux cars and ran speedily to open the door for Harry. Once Harry stepped down, he said to Horace, "inform whoever is inside to step out." 

"Got it boss," Horace immediately walked inside the mansion with two guards and soon came out with Alice and Edna. 

When the two women both saw Horace, they were shocked. This is the man people call the 'Demon Of DarkHood.' Both Edna and her mother had heard a lot of how ruthless and merciless he was. Not many people had the opportunity to see him. 

They wondered what the CEO of the biggest company in the country was doing before their mansion. 

Alice smiled and bowed to Harry, "Mr. Harry, to whom do we owe this honor?" Although she was scared on the inside, she tried to sound calm on the outside. 

Harry's face remained very aloof and then he said to Edna, "are you Edna by name?" 

Edna immediately answered, "yes, sir." 

"No one dares to lie to me in the entire Darkwood. Those who tried it in the past suffered a horrible fate. I'll ask you a question and you will speak the truth, understood?" His voice was harsh and hard. 

"Sure, sir...sure," Edna stuttered. She was very terrified. She didn't know what the question would be. Edna had fallen flawlessly to Harry's super and extraordinary handsomeness. His cuteness was so overwhelming. 

"Five years ago, I was drunk and stormed into a room at my club. A woman came in that night and demanded of me to have sex with her and without thinking twice, I did. Are you the woman?" He asked, his hard gaze making clear holes on her face. 

The entire atmosphere became as quiet as graveyard. Infact, the heavy heartbeat of Edna could be heard. 

Edna suddenly bursted into tears, everyone was shocked at her sudden outburst. Edna sobbed even more while Harry just watched her indifferently. 

"Waiting for my answers?" Harry asked as if he wasn't bothered by her tears. 

"I...was the one. I was also drunk that night." Edna cried even more, her head lowered as if ashamed. 

"What's the name of the club?" He questioned. 

"Club A, room 8," she answered with precision and cried even more. 

Alice acted along and hugged her, "don't be sad baby, it's been such a long time." 

'It was indeed this woman.' Harry thought and felt bad for Edna. He didn't intend to have sex with any woman that day but what could he do when he was drunk?

"Did you get pregnant?" Harry asked. Afterall, he released inside of her so it was okay to ask such question. 

Edna nodded and said," yes..." She sobbed. "I got pregnant then." 

Harry's face became even more serious, "and what happened? What happened to the pregnancy?" 

"I had miscarriage," Edna eventually raised her face up to look at him, tears still streaming down her eyes. She thought that speaking to him while looking directly at his face will make him more convinced that she wasn't lying. 

"I'll compensate you," he said, observing the pathetic woman before him keenly," how much did you want? Just state the price." 

"I don't want money, I'm not a materialistic woman," Edna knew better not to give him such impression about her. She has better thing to request for. 

"What did you want then?" Harry asked. 

"Please let me be around you often, afterall, you don't have a girlfriend," she shyly lowered her head. She didn't want to ask directly to be his girlfriend so as not to look like other desperate women who can't wait to throw themselves at him. 

"I'm very dangerous, are you sure you can stand me?" He sounded like he was warning her. Actually, he hated to have women around him. He beleived that getting close with any woman would betray the memories of his first love, his beautiful woman who died with their baby in her womb. 

"All these years, I have been living in pain and sorrow. Not only did I lost my virginity that night, I also lost my baby, it's all because of...you?" Edna cried and raised her face up again. She was trying to 'guilt-trip' him so she can grant her request. 

Being his girlfriend was worth more than any money he would offer. Also, her reputation would increase greatly and the second company of Debby's father that they were managing that was almost going bankrupt will definitely get it's shape back with the help of Harry Vernon. 

"Your daughter is coming with me," Harry suddenly said to Alice. Eventhough he would bring Alice closer to himself, he didn't plan on getting closer to her at all. He was just trying to make up for taking advantage of her many years ago. 

Alice pretended to be sad and said to Edna," I will miss you but I'll always support whatever decision you make as long as it makes you happy." 

"Thank you mama," Edna hugged her mum and then left with Harry. 

Alice couldn't help but smile at her daughter's smart move. She was so happy that she got get closer to Harry Vernon. Afterall, Her boyfriend, Arthur hasn't been serious with her lately. It's been five years yet he wouldn't marry her so he shouldn't blame her daughter for eloping with his brother. 

Whereas, Debby had just helped her son to finish taking his drug. "You need to rest, dear."

The little boy nodded and laid on the bed, his head resting on his mother's laps. 

"Mom, are you really sure that the tall man didn't beat you?" Fred asked. He was there when the guards came to pick up his mum. 

Debby smiled, how can an adult beat another adult? She thought and said to her son," no. Just that we need to avoid that man as much as we can." 

"How can you avoid him when he's the CEO of your company?" Fred was curious. 

"He didn't even know I work in his company since the company has more than five hundred staffs. It's impossible for him to identify all of his staffs," she said. 

"Oh okay! But why did I look like him?" Fred asked. 

Debby knew Fred loved to ask a lot of questions, it's not like she mind answering, it's just that he had just taken drug and he need more rest now. 

"Sweetheart, you need to sleep so the drug you have just taken can work," Debby said. 

"Okay, but answer this question and I'll go to sleep," the little boy assured. 

Debby sighed, "okay, I think it's just a coincidence that you look like him, it means nothing."

Fred however didn't believe his mum, he has been with his mum for a long time so if she's not telling the truth, he can see through her. 

'What if he's actually my dad, I'll get the man's hair and perform a DNA test. ?' Fred thought quietly while pretending to be sleeping. 'Such a tall rich man with lot of bodyguards would be able to protect his mommy and give her more life of comfort if he happens to be his dad. But how will he get the tall man's hair?' The little one thoughy deeply until he faded off to sleep.
