CHAPTER 6: Feast Of Abomination.

Its skin appeared sickly and pale, with patches of decaying flesh visible in some areas. Warts and boils dotted its face and hands, emitting a putrid odor that made Royce gag. Its eyes glowed with an eerie red light, devoid of any warmth or humanity, and its mouth twisted into a malicious grin, revealing rows of sharp, yellowed teeth. Its hands were bony and skeletal, with long, jagged nails caked in dirt and grime.

Royce was very scared, as he tried searching for the wand, but unfortunately, he had handed over the wand to the being, without any delay, the being, with its wicked laughter, held Royce and dragged him away from there.

Aethon appeared in front of the door, his radiant form illuminating the dim surroundings. His shining figure glowed with a sparkling light as he searched the area, his eyes looking around in search of Royce. Frustration etched across his features as he muttered to himself in frustration.

"Why are mortals so foolish?" he murmured under his breath, his voice tinged with disappointment. Despite his efforts to protect Royce, it seemed the mortal had fallen into the clutches of the Dark Covenant.

Aethon's heart sank as he beheld the shattered remains of the wand he had trusted to Royce's hands. It was clear that the forces of darkness had seized the opportunity to trap the careless mortal.

With determination burning in his eyes, Aethon released his wings, the feathers gleaming in the faint light. With a mighty flap, he soared into the air, his flight swift and silent as he descended toward the realm of torment.

The scene that greeted him was one of unspeakable horror. The air was thick with the stench of blood and suffering, the ground scorched by molten lava that bubbled and churned ominously. Men, their faces contorted in agony, were bound within cages suspended over the seething pools of magma. Monster creatures surrounded the area, their serpentine forms creating cruel weapons as they tormented their captives.

From his spot at the top of a mountain, Aethon inspected the scene below, his heart heavy with sorrow and fury. Amidst the mess, he spotted Royce, with his battered form as he was confined within a cage.

Determined to rescue the mortal from his tormentors, Aethon clenched his fists, his resolve hardening like steel. With a silent prayer for strength, he launched himself into action, his wings carrying him swiftly toward the heart of darkness.

As the demons surrounded Royce, their voices echoed with malice. "You dare consume the fruit of the Golden Haven, mortal? Such audacity!" they hissed, their eyes gleaming with malice With an evil joy, they unleashed their torment upon Royce. Flames licked at his skin, agony coursing through his veins.

"You think you can fight us, You are nothing but a mere mortal, destined to serve in the realm of darkness!" they taunted, their laughter echoing in the infernal chamber. Despite the torment,

As Royce's gaze met with Aethon while he stood on the mountain, he continued with his firm resolution, "I won't join you!" he declared, his voice trembling. "I ate the fruit out of hunger, I never knew its importance. I won't be deceived by your lies and deception!"

As the demons relentlessly whipped Royce with fiery lashes, he gritted his teeth and refused to yield to their demands. "I won't join you!" he shouted defiantly, even as the pain seared through his body.

Looking up to the mountain, Royce searched for Aethon's presence, but to his disappointment, Aethon was nowhere to be found. A wave of fear washed over him, leaving him feeling powerless and alone. Despite his struggles, Royce's resolve began to falter, and he bowed his head in defeat.

Royce pondered his predicament. Hunger had led him to eat the forbidden fruit, and now he faced the consequences. With a heavy heart, he decided to pretend to join the evil clan, hoping to find a way out later.

"I'll join you," Royce said reluctantly. The prisoners cheered, but Royce felt uneasy. He knew the dangers ahead but saw no other choice.

A figure emerged from the shadows, part human, part beast. His name was Grimnar, and he held a black robe and a dirty metal crown. Royce feared his appearance, knowing he was in the presence of true darkness.

Grimnar's appearance was like no other, for he bore the strange amalgamation of two forms within one body. From his head down to his belly, he possessed the likeness of a human, with features familiar and recognizable. His eyes, nose, and mouth were those of a man, and his upper body bore the shape and form of a human being.

However, from his belly downward, a startling transformation occurred. His lower half took on the appearance of a beast, with thick fur covering his legs and feet. His limbs were large and muscular, resembling those of a fearsome creature from the darkest depths of the forest.

Despite this intimidating appearance, Grimnar exuded an aura of power and authority, commanding respect and fear from all who beheld him. His nature symbolized the union of human intelligence and animal instinct, making him a formidable force to be reckoned with in the realm of both mortals and immortals alike.

Grimnar, with his commanding stature, stood before Royce, his dark eyes glowing with intensity. His skin was ashen, with patches of scales flickering in the dim light, and his long, wiry hair flowed down his back like twisted vines. Grimnar's hands, adorned with sharp claws, gripped the black robe tightly as he approached Royce.

"Stand up," Grimnar commanded, his voice deep and resonant. With a snap of his fingers, the surroundings shifted, transforming into a grand feast hall. Tables adorned with sumptuous dishes stretched as far as the eye could see, and the air was filled with the sounds of chatter and laughter. The once-captive humans now served as waiters and waitresses.

Royce, though taken aback by the sudden change, remained patient. His mind raced with thoughts of escape, his determination unshaken by the look of comfort around him.

But amidst the luxury, there was a troubling sight. The food served on the banquet tables was not of the ordinary variety. Instead, platters of human flesh were presented as the main food, while goblets filled with human blood were offered as beverages. Despite the elaborate presentation, the sight and smell of the gruesome fare turned Royce's stomach.

"What sort of rubbish is this?" Royce muttered to himself, his anger simmering beneath the surface. He watched in disgust as the other guests eagerly partook of the monstrous feast, their faces turned with delight.
