Chapter 47: Escape

Lorenz was sitting in his study, his right leg crossed over his lap, smiling. He was glad to have received a response accepting his proposal from Mawuta.

Suddenly, as usual, the room began to vibrate heavily, with things shattering all over the place. He felt disturbed and scared. Immediately, Grimnar appeared before him.

Lorenz was disappointed. He no longer felt scared of Grimnar's form. He hissed and said, "Could you stop scattering the place? Every time you come, there are better ways to appear." He began to pick up the scattered materials on the floor, muttering to himself.

Grimnar's dark figure loomed over him, but Lorenz kept his focus on tidying up. "I'm serious, Grimnar," he said, not looking up. "This is getting old.”
