Noah's Pov;

The silence was deafening as I drove back home.

I could hear the chirping made by the night birds, and the night sounds.

I cared less about them, and even the time of the day.

I got home, and it took a while before the gate opened up for me to get in.

Aunt Adele was home already. Her car was parked at the garage. It took a while before I got down from the car, and I slammed the door hard, walking in briskly - my face held in a neutral phase, as I took gentle steps into the sitting room, my left hand in my pocket.
