Maartje stayed in a different room from the one she usually used before.

"I haven't seen my parents yet. Can you do something?"

Maartje was almost certain that her parents had been moved from the palace. "I've checked every corner of this palace, but they're nowhere to be found!" she muttered.

Earlier, before the female soldiers escorted Maartje to her room, the girl asked them to accompany her to explore the palace, which they said was being renovated.
