Chapter 07

Ten years passed.

A young man with flowing hair and sweat as big as corn kernels, he kept swinging his arms and legs to hit and kick a wooden tree.

He had been hitting the wooden tree since he was little. who knows how much longer it will take to end his fight with the wood that just sat there.

An elderly grandmother looked at the young man who was practicing, sitting relaxed in his hut with his feet dangling on the ground.

After seeing the young man stop and blow on his injured hand, he immediately said "Don't be lazy about hitting it, my grandson, just hit the tree as you like. Hit it to vent your frustration towards me" he said chuckling.

He continued punching and kicking while replying, "Do I have to uproot this tree before I can stop hitting it, Grandma? Don't you feel sorry for him? Didn't Grandma say that all living things need to be loved?" He asked innocently while controlling his gasping breath. but without reducing the rhythm of the punches and kicks he gave to the tree.

He was small, but not as short as other children his age. At first glance, people would think he was fifteen years old.

With the quite hard training he does every day, all his muscles grow perfectly.

"Don't ask too many questions, you'll become stupid!" Grandma Zhou widened her eyes for a moment and then entered the hut.

Long Chu was still doing his punching and kicking, even though Grandma Zhou was no longer paying attention.

Until evening came, closing the bright light, replacing it with dim moonlight. The young man leaned against a beaten tree trunk to relieve fatigue and pain in his hands and feet.

Long Chu wiped the excessive sweat on his forehead, two breaths later, he immediately stood up and ran to the river and immediately jumped in fully clothed.

After taking a long bath, he swam upstream to reach the waterfall and sat under it. Then he meditated to remember the passage about mastering the heart from the Book of the Divine Sword.

In the past he skipped several chapters that he considered unimportant. Because his body used to be quite full, he deliberately jumped to another chapter to speed up his training. However, now he no longer wants to make that mistake. Instead he starts from the beginning of the Chapter and practices according to the direction of the Book. if one stage is not completed, it will continue to repeat that stage.

His memory about the book was awakened when he was five years old, five years have passed. Now he was at the end of the first chapter, body training. And it really suited the training that Grandma Zhou had given him, he complained just to avoid suspicion and pretended not to know the benefits of a strong physique. Because there was no way he was telling the truth.

That the original little Long Chu died long ago and what now exists is Chen Long, the owner of the title of Sword King, who migrated to fill the empty soul in that tiny body...

He recalled the second chapter of the Divine Sword Scripture. He must meditate to gain peace of mind and increase concentration.

The sound of crickets calling each other could no longer be heard. Because he has entered inner peace.

Under a shady tree someone is hiding. She was Grandma Zhou who always paid attention to what Long Chu did.

In fact, every night he was there to guard his grandson from wild animals or anything that would approach little Long Chu. It was five years ago. This was done without Long Chu's knowledge.

"I don't know, what makes you practice every night under the splash of a waterfall? I don't know where that understanding comes from. But I will always watch over you in silence. I can't give you much knowledge, because I'm not a great warrior.I can only teach you to protect yourself with some bare-handed hitting techniques, at least so that you don't get bullied by other people if you mix with other humans," he muttered then remembered his meeting with the little boy...

The morning sun gave its light, hitting Long Chu's eyelids. He immediately opened his eyes and brought his hands to his face to cover the glare that disturbed his vision.

"It's already morningI hope Grandma Zhou hasn't woken up yet and I have to look for firewood and fish to eat," he muttered

Long Chu walked quickly and he saw a tree the size of his toe. He cut it down with a small knife that was always at his waist. The knife was a gift from his grandmother just in case and he sometimes used it to kill tigers or other animals.

He made the tip of the tree he cut down slightly sharpened, then walked to the river which he already knew had lots of fish. But there are also crocodiles.

He stood on a tree branch very calmly, the branch didn't even sway in the slightest under his weight. If you think about it logically, it's a bit unreasonable. But that's the reality now. He mastered the science of lightening the body taught by Grandma Zhou perfectly.

Even Grandma Zhou was confused sometimes, why was the little boy so proficient in martial arts?

His sharp gaze swept across the calm water and focused on the subtle movements of the swimming fish. When he had locked onto his prey, he immediately jumped. The calm water immediately gushes out.

Buzz! Three fish were immediately impaled on the simple homemade spear.

"Hahaha, I'm really good at catching fish." He laughed happily then got out of the water and immediately swam quickly. He was afraid that a large crocodile would sense his presence. However, his body is still small, even though he has the memories of his parents.

Long Chu climbed to the surface and cleaned the fish and then took it home by holding it on his shoulder and waddling around.

"Grandma! I brought fish for us to eat," he shouted excitedly from outside the hut.

"Just grill it, don't forget to season it!" said Grandma Zhou from inside the hut with a slight cough. He's getting older.

Not many people can live hundreds of years in this world. And one of them is Grandma Zhou, who knows what makes her live so long.

Little Long Chu finished cooking the grilled fish and brought it into the Shack.

"Grandma! What happened to you? Why is there blood on the floor?" Chen Long panicked seeing the blood. He immediately stood up and took a cloth to mop the floor.

"Grandma probably doesn't have much time anymore," she said with sad eyes looking at Long Chu. He swung his hand to touch his adopted grandson's cheek.

Long Chu came closer to make it easier for Grandma Zhou to stroke her cheek, which was what Grandma Zhou always did when she was sick.

"Don't leave me, Grandma! Who will I be with? I'm still small," said Long Chu sadly. For some reason today he couldn't hold back his tears and they immediately fell apart.

Even though his soul is the soul of an old man who also lived hundreds of years. But seeing the person who cared for him would breathe his last. Makes his heart ache..
