Matilda pays and she and Angus are out of there.

On the cover of the night, they walk through the darkness to her car that is parked on the other side.

In his hand, Angus has the brown envelope that contains the only pictures that he has of his childhood.

Ashley really made him pay for those dearly, but he is very glad that he got them.

"Thank you for helping me out today." He says. "I'm really grateful."

"You still haven't told me how you knew that girl from the Randolf company."

Angus rubs the back of his neck, he still hasn't forgiven Joanna for showing up like that.

He is still going to take it up with his grandfather.

Matilda notices that he has zoned out again, so she stops in front of him, just before they get to the car.

"I am serious, Angus, how do you know her?" She sighs.

"I don't know her." He laughs. "I told you, she is just this random girl I met here. She was trying to go out of her way to be nice, but I don't like that."
