It had been a week since the zombie virus appeared, a virus that was thousands of times more disturbing than the previous zombie virus. How could it not be, whoever was infected by this zombie virus, their body will be pale like a corpse. They tend to lose their minds and their only instinct was to eat unnatural food, starting from corpse organs, brains, and even if they don't find 'food' for them in graves. They will search hospitals or even start harming living humans.

 “This virus is really scary, Ethan. Are you still not sure now and still want to look for proof? Even now people whose relatives have died are starting to worry, afraid that their family's graves will be opened and their bodies will be taken to be eaten by the zombies."

Rafael was now sitting with Ethan on the edge of a fairly large field. The wheat seeds began to sprout quite heavily there.

 “I'm still confused about what is behind this virus spreading? What does this virus reproduce on? I don't understand the theory at all, and I'm confused. Even scientists gave up this time, they haven't found the first source that caused this virus to be transmitted to humans, right?" Ethan asked.

"That's so strange, I don't know. My head suddenly became dizzy thinking about this. Don't you feel dizzy yourself, Ethan?"

“Same, I also feel dizzy. But it can't be helped, if we force ourselves not to get dizzy, it's useless. We are only human.”

"So what will you do? I will accompany you and help you until your mission becomes a success, Ethan. That is my promise.”

Ethan looked at Rafael again then he frowned perfectly. It was just that he fe5 that Rafael was quite strange right now. Usually it was true that Rafael was excited, but not this excited. Previously, Ethan still did everything himself.

"I don't know for sure myself, Ethan. It's just that I feel that your research this time is an assessment that will be very meaningful for me. So I want to join in to help you. I want to be your best friend in taking care of all this."

“Why did it happen?”

“ER-26, how about it? I think that name is much cooler than the name you mentioned earlier."

“ER?” Ethan asked.

“Ethan and Rafael two thousand twenty-six. How about it, do you like it or not?"

Ethan nodded his head perfectly, then he smiled too.

“Okay, the name of the formula is ER-26, I have settled on this name perfectly.”

“So, when do we start doing the research, Ethan? Later tonight?"

“No, tomorrow.”

"Where are you going today?" Rafael asked again.

Ethan then rushed away from Ethan, he ran quite fast.

“You don't need to think about me, Rafael! I will be fine. You should go home!” shouted Ethan.

Rafael shook his head perfectly, until suddenly he shivered with cold and started to feel dizzy and nauseous.

“Oh my God, what happened to me? Am I anemic? Why do I get tired so easily, dizzy and nauseous lately?"

While complaining about the pain, Rafael walked home. Looked like he should really rest now so that tomorrow he will be healthy and can help make the formula together with Ethan.

“If only you knew, Ethan. The reason why I am so enthusiastic about helping you this time is because for some reason I feel that your struggle this time is the last struggle that I can accompany you. I don't know, maybe after this I will move from the village to the city. That's why I had such thoughts.”

Rafael shook his head again as he continued walking, then he whistled happily. He couldn't wait for tomorrow, to be the first person beside Ethan on his way to success.

Meanwhile, Ethan immediately drove his car quickly towards the city. No, he couldn't rashly create a formula without being able to study what happened first. This zombie virus was truly more disturbing and frightening, even Ethan couldn't predict what formula he would use in this case.

Yes, at least Ethan must know for sure what the cause was, then he can figure out what he can do so that the world would return to normal as before.

Just at the red light after Ethan entered the city, he was quite startled by someone banging on his car window. The figure was glaring, his eyes were about to come out, his face was pale like a corpse, the nerves on his body were black and visible so clearly. His nails were black, and his mouth kept emitting green mucus.

Ethan was horrified to see this, he never expected to see such a terrifying sight.

“Is this really a virus? Why do they seem like they can no longer be helped? Is it true that they can recover? I think death and extermination is the only thing that can be done compared to saving them.”

Ethan then closed his eyes, looking at the zombie human in front of him. While closing his eyes he hit the zombie. Liquid comes out but it was not red like blood, but a very strange, dark purplish green color.

Ethan looked around, there was no one and maybe this was his chance to go out and do some research.

Then he rushed over to the zombie human who was lying helplessly. He quickly photographed all the parts he could examine at home, took samples of saliva and also fluids that came out like blood in a sterile bottle. After everything was finished, Ethan, who was about to leave, turned his head again, the zombie human's fingers that were hit started to move. In fact, logically, if it were a human infected with the virus, he would have died. But that figure was not the same at all. Ethan started to be scared to death, he saw purple spots on the zombie human's skin. Before he got into the car and saw that the zombie man immediately came back to life, even though it was clear that his condition when he was hit by Ethan was truly very pathetic. It was impossible for humans to live and return to their original state.

"I have to go home, it looks like the world is really going to end now!"
