"I will be going to see James' mother today. She is celebrating her birthday and everyone will be there." Shelly said. Jackson looked at her with a suspicious look. Shelly did not notice at first when Jackson did not respond to what she said because she was putting on her make up when she said it. She did not take notice of the fact that he was looking at her suspiciously. "Will you not respond to what I said?" She was by the dresser putting final touch to her make up while Jackson was on the bed looking at a map.

When he did not answer her was when she now looked at him and her gaze met his. She nothing to him. They just stared at each other until Shelly spoke. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
