Chapter Thirty

Ben was taken into a car and dropped exactly at the same spot where he was abducted. "It's best you do what you have been told." Drip said to him and kicked him in his mid section while Ben was lying face down on the ground.

He heard them giggle as they drove off. He was there for about five minutes before he began to get up himself.

He sat down like a monk and looked up at the sun that was smiling down on him. "What a morning." He managed to say with the mouth that was swollen and bloody.

"Please excuse me." He said to lady that was

about to walk past him. The lady stooped and gave him a total look over but she did not walk off fortunately.

"What is it by the time?" He asked the lady.

The lady obliged him by telling him the time. "It's mid-day." She said and walked off but she kept glancing back at him until she was nowhere in sight.

"What a way to begin the day. It's way past morning time." Ben said and struggled to get up on his feet.
