Chapter 20

Benjamin and Max headed into the restaurant, and they began glancing around.

“Hey, where's your grandma?” Max tapped Benjamin's shoulder. “I thought you told her to come in here.”

“I did,” Benjamin confirmed as he utilized his tall body, craning his neck to see into the distance. It didn't take long before he spotted his grandmother seated at a golden table surrounded by golden lights.

Benjamin smiled at his grandmother until he realized that she looked very uncomfortable, causing his smile to dwindle slowly.

A few seconds later, a waiter walked towards her with an arrogant expression on his face. “Ma’am, I've told you before that you can't sit here without ordering anything yet.” He looked down at Theresa Knox with disdain. “Also, it's clear that you're not meant to be seated at a gold table with the way you're dressed.”
