Theresa's eyes widened slightly as she looked around her. She was so used to her reality of not letting most things around her matter to her. That's why she had yet to fully digest that her life was no longer that of a disrespected pauper.

Benjamin frowned slightly as he recalled something while glancing down at the kneeling man.

“When that security guard ordered us to exit this car a while ago. You and I were immediately about to oblige. We would have done as he instructed us. Anthony hadn't signaled us to sit back.” Benjamin shook his head. “Our behavior just then did not reflect our elevated status.”

Theresa understood what his grandson was telling her. They needed to be more active in the way they reacted to how they were treated by people. From now on, they must never succumb easily to threats as it would only make them appear unfit for the Whiteridge family's power and social influence.
