Theresa kept going on for a couple of minutes before her smile dwindled slightly as she recalled something. “Benjy, I'm still quite worried about what happened with the old residence.”

This brought a slight frown to Benjamin's face as well as he recalled seeing the old greedy landlord with Andrew.

“Don't worry; sooner or later, whatever plans they've cooked up will be unveiled.”

Benjamin gently reached out to hold Theresa's hand as he could see the worry on her face. “C’mon, I'm the grandson of Hunter Whiteridge. Nothing either of those two could do will affect me in any way. Not when I have the name and power of the Whiteridge family as my backing.”

Theresa nodded her head slightly as she knew the truth in Benjamin's reassurance.
