“Benjamin, have you lost your mind?!” The director rushed over. “Are you really trying to kill Mr. Tyrone?!”

Benjamin loosened his hand and turned around, looking at the director in the eye, finally giving Max the chance to escape.

At this point, there was now a crowd watching the scene. The whole situation was unfolding at the main gate after all. There was no way it wouldn't attract a large audience.

“Oh my goodness!” Alexa exclaimed as approached Andrew. She had actually called the director earlier in case this idiot Benjamin would do anything crazy. Turned out she was right.

“Oh, baby, you look a mess.” She then glared at Benjamin before turning a pitiful expression in the director's way. “Sir, thank the great goodness that you came on time! You saw it yourself! This madman was about to start another fight!”

“Sir” Andrew didn't waste time taking full advantage of this situation. “He suddenly came after me, assaulting me for no reason. "It must be because he had been suspended for his unruly behaviour earlier, so he's taking this as some sort of revenge. Please, director, I'm gonna need you to bring this matter to justice and expel that crazy man. If he remains here based on a brief suspension, I'm afraid of what will happen to me once he comes back. What about Alexa? What would he do to her this time? He was suspended for being a stalker then, so what if he does worse to her?”

Alexa gladly put on an act as well. “Director, Benjamin is unhinged. He has always been like that, but now, he's gotten even worse.” She put on the facade of a weak and vulnerable young woman, garnering more pity from the director. “Sir, neither I nor Andrew are gonna be safe as long as that lunatic is still admitted in this school. Please, you need to expel him immediately.”

“Damn it.” Max whispered out with frustration written all over his face. “This is really bad, Ben.” He whispered into his best friend's ear. “Those two are shamelessly using this against you.”

Benjamin's gaze coldly remained on Andrew's face. The image of that pompous bastard spitting on his grandmother was still fresh in his mind, creating heavy waves of anger within him.

“No, it's not like that, director!” Benjamin's grandmother could no longer take the accusations that Andrew and Alexa were hailing at her grandson. “Sir, these two….they antagonised my boy, or else, he would have never done that.” She began tearing up while shaking her head. “My…My Benjy is not the kind of person these two described him as. I'm his grandmother. I raised that boy by myself, so I know him best. He's not that kind of person at all.”

The director sneered lightly while trying to look as unbiased as possible. “Mrs. Knox, when I arrived here, was your grandson looking like he was about to jump on Mr. Tyrone and beat him up, and yet, you're telling me that he's not the violent madman that he's made out to be?”

“No, no!” Mrs. Knox shook her head even harder as the tears began falling. “You misunderstand us Sir, really.” She joined her two palms together. “My grandson is a really good boy. Please, do not suspend him.”

“Grandma, please, stop.” Benjamin could no longer take this and he gently moved his grandmother away from the director. “Of all the people to try and reason with, this director should be the last person.”

“Mr. Knox!” The director couldn't believe what he had just heard.

Even Andrew and Alexa were stunned beyond words.

Still, Benjamin didn't care at all. He knew that the director was already on Andrew's side mostly due to his powerful background. This shameless director was simply on the side of power.

The director was almost shaking with anger at this point. “Mr. Knox, perhaps I should really expel you for what I witnessed you doing today. Lately, you've been proving to be more troublesome than I ever expected. And you actually have the guts to try and bully Mr. Tyrone?” He pointed at Andrew. “Do you have any idea of the amount this family gives to this university in donations alone?”

He then raised both palms, spreading all ten fingers. “$1 millon. The Tyrone family donates $1 million to this university. And no, it's not a one-time thing. They've been donating that much annually for the past four years now.”

The crowd gasped when they heard this, murmuring at how greatly benevolent the Tyrone family was.

1 million a year? Is that a lot?

Benjamin smirked, he had 3 billion in his black card now.

If it were yesterday, he might have given in to this pressure of power and money once again, but today was different.

From now on, he no longer had to bow weakly to anyone. He could protect his family now!

"Darling, look at him. Still pretending to be cool. How funny!" Alexa glanced at Benjamin, who stood frozen in place, and smiled at Andrew.

Director Thorpe stared at Benjamin openly with disdain. “Now, what have you contributed to this university?” He pointed a finger at the young student. “$1 million is far from easy, and I can say that this is an amount that you'll never be able to amass in your lifetime, especially with this unruly behaviour of yours.”

The crowd gave a mixture of “Oooh” and mocking laughter at the director's words. Most of them felt like he deserved this, as they currently see him as the villain in this situation.

Unfortunately for the director, Benjamin wasn't fazed by the amount he had just called out.

Director Thorpe cleared his throat and glanced at Benjamin with with a disdainful look. “Now, Mr. Know, I believe it is only proper that you apologise to Mr. Tyrone and beg for his forgiveness.”

“And why should I apologise?” Benjamin finally worded his state of mind, surprising everyone.

“If you're licking his ass because his family donates $1 million annually, then I’ll donate ten times that amount to the school right now,” He said coldly, pointing a finger at Andrew Tyrone. “The condition is - Expel him from this university, effective immediately!”

This is what's horrifying a lot of the audience, as well as thrilling them at the moment. Those punishments can not be handled by most humans. No one here has ever seen a member of the Whiteridge family be subjected to such a harsh punishment in the Elder Council Hall. It's usually the likes of the Whiteridge soldiers who brave this kind of punishment. Ordinary humans could easily lose their lives.Yet, Elder Biscroft executed this punishment on Benjamin, but there is no complaint because Benjamin was basically classified as a Whiteridge soldier- level defendant, and thus, this measure is allowed. But this degree of gravity increase and electrocuting arrow were actually raised slightly in comparison to the degree that most Whiteridge soldiers deal with here.Back to the present,Elder Biscroft grinned with a cruel expression as he snapped his fingers once again.Immediately, Benjamin felt the gravity around him double, and he was forced back on his knees as it felt like he was being

Elder Biscroft didn't dare glance around the room at the faces of the other elders. He simply clenched his jaw and pointed down at Benjamin.“How dare you make such an insinuation?! I would never look down on your father?! The late Master Dallas is a legend in the history of books of this family!”Benjamin stood firmly on his feet, glaring up at this elder figure.“If that's the case, and you truly stand by what you've just said, you would have never made those remarks about my mother! Caroline Thompson, that's her name! And Dallas Whiteridge loved her! Don't forget that next time, Elder Biscroft!”The room was filled with murmurs, specifically from the lower elders behind the grand seats.“Damn! Did he really talk back to Elder Biscroft?!”“I know, right? Isn't he afraid of the elder activating the gravity punishment once again? The one he was struck with looked like it really hurt.”“I know, but look at the guy. He's completely recovered from it.”“Yeah, isn't he the same person wh

“Quiet! Everyone, pipe down!”The male elder who spoke had an extremely aloof tone to his voice as he gave the order.“Since the long-lost young master of our family is finally here, let's be him shall we?”Both Herbert and Lewis glanced at each other before bowing down at ninety degrees towards these people, but they were directly facing the patriarch for the most part.“We've brought Young Master Benjamin to you as demanded. He now stands before you for the trial that challenges his worthiness of being the current top contender for the position of Heir Apparent.”“Patriarch, Members of the Elder Council, we request that you hold this trial with no prejudices, nor motives, as it greatly concerns the future of this family.”They bowed slightly lower for a few more seconds before rising. Without another word, they both glanced at him, giving him a reassuring smile before walking away. Benjamin watched as these two leading subordinates walked in the direction of the great master, clim

After going through the main hallway on the second floor, they got into an elevator and rode it straight to the fourth floor, getting out to find another long hallway, with a huge pair of doors at the end.Halfway through this hallway they could see that there were Whiteridge soldiers lined up across the walls, all in exquisite uniforms. One could easily see that these soldiers were similar to the group that Herbert McKlin had appeared with when he first showed up. This group of Whiteridge soldiers has to belong to the same elite-tier golden troops that serve the patriarch alone. As they approached the huge doors, they opened slightly, and a muscular and tall middle-aged man walked out of the Council Hall, letting out a sigh of relief when he found that Herbert had returned, and he wasn't alone.“Oh, you're here. Thank goodness. Those goddamn nagging oldies in there wouldn't stop grumbling already, and it's not even time yet.”Herbert chuckled.“This is the elders we're talking about

Hannah heard her daughter's whispered words and turned to her to find an immense look of anger and dejection on her face. She attempted to reach out and hold her face, but Veronica turned away.“No wonder Grandpa even went as far as to provide him with soldiers from his own troops as his security unit. It never made sense to me, until now. So it turns out that he was extending the love he could no longer shower on his favoured son to his grandson.”Those words ‘favored son’ immediately brought Hannah's emotions down a notch. She couldn't help but chuckle with a bitter tone.“Even after all these years, that bastard brother of mine is still haunting me. Goodness! Well done, Dallas. Well done.”Herbert had nothing else to say. He understood that with this revelation done, no one would dare bully Benjamin like this ever again. He turned to whisper to Benjamin.“It's time to head up to the council hall, Young Master. Your grandfather and the Elder Council are waiting for you.”Benjamin n

Hearing this, whispers rise louder as people begin picking up on what Herbert was going to say. Gasps filled the air one by one as they finally figured it out.“No way!”“I….It can't be!”As for Veronica M, she frowned deeply at this revelation, feeling her heart fill up with greater hatred for Benjamin after finding out that he's actually the son of a legitimate child of her grandfather. She turned to Hannah.“Mom, what the heck is Prime Butler Herbert talking about…”She trailed off as she noticed that her mother had a frozen expression on her face, almost haunted, as she stared up at Benjamin with something akin to newfound understanding.“He's….oh my goodness! It's him. He really looks like him.”Veronica raised an eyebrow in growing confusion.“What the heck?! Mom, what are you seriously on about right now? Who looks like who? Benjamin? Who did he look like?”She felt a firm hand on her shoulder, making her turn to find a weird look that her father was giving her. She calmed dow
