Evelyn's Honesty

About five minutes later, Evelyn returned with a tray containing a cup of Darjeeling Tea. She placed the cup on the table. She invited Benjamin to enjoy the tea.

Evelyn cleared her throat with poise, offering her words with politeness and respect, "I've reached out to my superior; he is Mr. Joseph Moore. Presently, he is outside the province, but he has graciously agreed to rendezvous with you and assured that he will promptly make his way here."

Benjamin nodded briefly. He was more interested in the Darjeeling Tea in front of him than the news about the owner of Treasure Village. Benjamin lifted the teacup and then smelled the aroma of the tea. His eyes were closed, while he wondered what aromas he could find in the cup of tea.

Upon opening his eyes, Benjamin inquired, "Would you not care to indulge in the same tea and join me in this delightful sip, Evelyn?"
