Chapter 9: Overcome pain

"Haahh…Haahhh…Haaahhh…" Inside the bathroom, Ivo was leaning against the mirror in front of him. His hand held the sink to support his body.

His current condition was dire. His face showed a distorted expression with messy breathing. His body trembled uncontrollably and cold sweat covered his entire body.

The tap water ran down his head to various parts of his body. All of his clothes were now soaked with water. His state was very pitiful if other people saw it.

shut up!!! SHUT UP!!! Bastard. Shut up!!!. Ivo screamed at the top of his lungs inside his head. He wanted to get rid of those negative thoughts but it did nothing.

Like pouring oil on a fire, the noises did not stop but grew crazier.

Distorted thoughts appeared one after another without stopping.

That's what happened to Ivo at this point. The Heart of fearlessness dislodged the fear within him. Because of that, all kinds of thoughts appeared and disappeared in his head. Coupled with the pain he had been experiencing for the past 2 days, negative thoughts dominated his mind.

"Ugh…" Ivo endured the pain coming from the top of his head. This pain is still not as big as what he has because of the clash of talents he has.

Gradually the black eyes turned into those of a dead man. His senses had become dull, at this point he couldn't even feel the mana flowing through the air like before.

The pain inside his head slowly disappeared. Ivo lay weak on the bathroom floor.

After a while. Ivo got up from the floor. His hands supported his body so he wouldn't fall again.

"Unlucky. Even after sealing my mana sense, the pain still lingers."

Ivo raised his hand and formed a small green magic circle on his hand.

Greenlight fell all over his body. All the pain that remained in him diminished gradually. Stamina and strength that were depleted earlier slowly began to be replenished. The torn wound on his hand was also slowly starting to close.

Nature healing. universal healing magic. Even though this spell is very weak in the category of healing spells, it is quite useful due to its very low mana consumption.

The rules state that examinees cannot leave the room unless they have finished or the exam time is up.

If not for that rule, he would have gone outside by now.

The supervisor showed a puzzled expression. "Submit your test? Are you taking this test as a joke?" Before he could continue the person was already in front of him.

"Please check yourself, sir." He placed his test paper on his desk.

"..!!! What?" Contrary to his expectations, the paper was full of complex answers to every question.

"Hey, Tung… Huh? Where is he?" The supervisor looked even more confused at this point. That person had already disappeared as if he wasn't there from the start.

He cast various detection magics and noticed that the person was already outside and walking leisurely.

For a moment the overseer let out a relieved expression. There was no way anyone could suddenly appear and disappear without being detected. Maybe he just left without saying anything.

"What did you guys see? Do you want to fail?" A cold voice awakened all the examinees.

They immediately shook their heads in rejection. their eyes were directed back to the paper in front of them and continued to do the exam.
