Ivo took Raven's hand and shook it.
"Ivo. You can call me Ivo"
Raven looked at me enthusiastically as if he had found a very valuable treasure. "By the way your name is quite unique huh"
"a lot of people say that haha.."
we talked casually. we talked a lot about general things like where we came from and why we entered snow white academy. Well, this is pretty much useless chit chat since what we're saying is a lie. But even so, raven didn't stop or change his expression even because of the lie I said even though he has 'that' talent.
"Ivo, when do you plan to enroll in white snow academy?" raven asked me
"I plan to register tomorrow"
"Okay, I can take you there. I happened to have registered at the academy this afternoon."
"You can also use this room until the day of the exam. You also don't have to worry about the cost, I will bear it" Raven explained quickly for fear that I would leave because I didn't feel comfortable. "
uh.. yes. Thank You. sorry to bother you" Ivo said with that awkwardly.
"dont think about it. I'll be in the next room if you need anything. Here, you can eat this sandwich if you're hungry I just ordered it to eat when you wake up" Raven handed the sandwich to me and walked out of the room.
Outside…
"Really an interesting person. I didn't expect anyone to have such skill" Raven was slightly surprised when she saw the person he met earlier this morning. He did not expect that this person was not an ordinary person at all.
"Heart of fearlessness yeah…. if I remember correctly I've heard rumors about it but never met anyone who actually had one. I thought it was just a legend."
"But this is strange, no matter how much I think about it I never hear any news about its appearance" Raven recalled the memory before he regressed. Ivo, it was a name he had never heard before whether during his time at the academy or before his death.
Recalling his previous life, Raven regretted a little about how he was when he was young. "Huh…I really hate my old self"
***
Ivo looked at the door where the raven had left and paid little heed to it. "It seems he has already started his act."
While eating the sandwich he was given he felt a bit nostalgic as he recalled the story of the 'walking calamity'.
Regressor raven, a person who regress to save this world from being destroyed. It was unknown how he had regressed but it was a fact that he came back from the future. During the game, raven will try to recruit people who are very influential in the future and form his own organization. Even so, the organization would not last long and its members would leave one after another due to internal organizational problems. After his failure and the betrayal he experienced. Raven doesn't trust anyone and tries to solve everything alone. This was the beginning of him being known as the 'walking calamity', a person who brought destruction wherever he was.
Even though he achieved what he wanted but, Raven was eventually killed because he was considered a danger to the world.
"Haaah… what a naive child. No, he is not only naive but also very stubborn." Ivo sighed, and looked out the window.
He recalled how the collapse of the guild that raven had built while still playing destiny. 'It was partly his fault that he was overconfident that he could change the future just because he succeeded in regressing. Although he managed to gather many talented people around the world, he did not manage to unite the different interests of the various members who joined. In fact, many members defected and became spies. In the end he was crushed because of the burden and betrayal that occurred and turned into a monster called walking calamity' at least that's what happened while playing destiny.
I've tried to change it and sacrificed a lot of time and repetition. It got to the point where I got fed up with it. the result is a futile act. His nature that thinks that he can solve everything after knowing how the future is is a fundamental problem that can no longer be changed.
In his eyes this is arrogance. It was honest to say but right now he wanted nothing to do with raven. He didn't even have the time to deal with the problem where his life would start to be under threat.
Ivo calmed all his thoughts and stared at the information panel that had appeared since Raven left the room.
[Second qualification has been fulfilled (accumulated over 100 different talents acquired while playing destiny.)]
[choose any 3 talents you want.]
This is really a very crazy requirement. Although skills can be obtained with effort and knowledge, talent is in another realm.
As far as is known, there are 3 ways to get talent, the first is innate from race and miracle from birth. In this case, the talent you have will be truly unique and cannot be obtained with your effort or talent. The simplest example is the innate talent of the elf race 'sea of mana' which increases the amount of mana by an enormous amount. The second way is called the expansion of talent, talent will develop at a young age in proportion to the effort produced but this is limited to a young age but the talent produced will be proportional to innate talent. As a destiny player, the 2nd way cannot be accessed because when we start the game, our age has exceeded the specified limit. There are ways to obtain innate race talents but those cannot be accessed in the early stages of destiny. The last way is to accumulate real experience. Usually, the talents obtained in this way are not as good as the first or second method. In fact, the talents produced are general talents that can be found in many areas.
Of course I wouldn't choose a talent that can be obtained in a third way. This time I didn't have to think about it too much. Because when I saw the second qualifying panel I had already decided what I would vote for. "
I chose 'energy control', 'perfect mana sense', and 'distortion body'."
['energy control', 'perfect mana sense', and 'distortion body' will be selected as your talents]
[Warning!!! one of the talents you choose comes from another race. There is a possibility of a race change happening are you sure?]
Ivo immediately hit the yes button. The warning didn't really bother him because he already knew this from the start.
"Remember taking another race's talent by force will slowly change your true race especially when you are a human."
"I don't know why you did that but it is the wrong way. At this point your life will be over."
Past memories surfaced in his head. Because he had done it before, he was sure of the decision he made even though it didn't end well so he had to start over from the beginning. but, right now is different, its not like he walked in same path as before, its something that panel give to him and maybe the last chance he got.
[Talent will be given]
In an instant, the intense pain came like a tsunami. It's different when he get the heart of fearlessness. His body was currently undergoing a drastic change due to the concurrent talent effect. every cell in the body reconstructed simultaneously to suit the talent I chose. The immense torrent of pain was increasing every second.
Time noticeably slowed down and the psychological attacks escalated to an extreme level. Every second felt like an hour, to someone else it would feel like torture but right now Ivo was keeping his mind awake by constantly flowing every bit of mana in his body to keep his mind working even under extreme conditions. He was a veteran of the game and was used to doing simple things like keeping his consciousness intact. Different from before when he received the heart of fearlessness, now Ivo had already anticipated the coming pain.
Thus, Ivo's torment lasted for an hour. He did it without the help of others. A smile appeared on his face, the information panel told him the words he had been waiting for.
[The changes in your body have been completed.] [Host gains +52 strength, +52 agility, +40 Stamina, +10 magic power during the body transformation process.]
"I swear…I really don't want to do this anymore"

Path of SwordsThis was the swordsmanship that Ivo trained and refined endlessly until it finally became perfect swordsmanship for himself. As a player with none of the talents related to swordsmanship and low-level mana sense, the only specialization he had spent the most time with as a player was becoming a Swordsman.Apart from the relatively cheap price of a sword, sword skills are easier to learn than magic. This was a swordsmanship he created from someone who couldn't even swing a sword to be called a proper swordsmanshipIn contrast to Raven who has more than 3 talents regarding swordsmanship.
