The following day, while Joanna was already at work and Maya was safely at school, Travis embarked on a journey to the heart of Mainville City. He was headed for the place he once called home, a place he had left behind for some time now, but the answers he desperately sought could only be found within its walls.

As he arrived at the opulent Danforth mansion, the security personnel stationed there were taken aback by his unannounced presence. They couldn’t hide their surprise at the return of the young master, whose absence had left them puzzled.

Curiosity lingered on the faces of all the staff within the mansion as they observed the car drive in.

Travis parked his car and alighted out of it. He had arrived slightly ahead of schedule, and he could only hope that his father would be present to receive him, for he was unaware of his arrival.
