“I find it hard to believe, Travis. I’ve finally achieved the position of General Manager at Bloom Construction. Can you grasp the significance of this?” Joanna eagerly inquired as Travis drove them home.

Travis cast a skeptical glance her way. “Aren’t you moving a bit too swiftly and placing too much trust? How certain are you that they’re not orchestrating a deceptive ploy?”
