Joanna stood in awe, gazing at the gown with admiration. "Travis, this gown is absolutely stunning! You really didn’t have to go through all this trouble!” she exclaimed, her face beaming with pleasure.

"I wanted you to shine at the event, and this gown is the perfect choice for you," Travis explained, silently hoping she wouldn't inquire about its cost.

As Joanna absorbed the beauty of the gown, her expression shifted to one of contemplation when she settled on the bed, a hint of sadness clouding her face. "I can’t help but feel unwelcome there. By now, news of my disownment must have spread. I won't even get the credit; it will be the Blooms who benefit. It's so disheartening."

Travis, understanding her sentiment, nodded in empathy. "That’s their specialty—taking credit for others’ accomplishments. Despite that, I’m confident you’ll be more than welcome. General Manager Marshall recognized your talents before, and I believe that recognition still stands.”
