As they sat together at the dining table, Joanna raised a topic that had been on her mind. "Travis, you mentioned earlier about arranging something special for our anniversary, right?"

Travis, engrossed in feeding Maya, nodded in acknowledgment. "Yes, I did mention it. I wanted to make our anniversary memorable."

Joanna's expression turned disapproving, and she shook her head. "I've reconsidered. I don't want you to go through the trouble anymore."

Confusion filled Travis's face as he looked at Joanna. "What? Why? I thought we both agreed on making it special."

Joanna's tone remained firm as she explained, "I'm extremely busy with my own commitments to be bothered about such. Celebrating our anniversary seems trivial compared to my responsibilities. Besides, I already have other obligations during that time and I'd rather engage in it than do anything else."

Travis's disbelief was evident in his stare, but he held his tongue, knowing he couldn't argue with Joanna's request.
