Travis firmly closed the door, leaving the guard on the other side. His eyes shifted to the woman who was hastily fixing her disheveled attire, while Edwin seethed with rage.

With her gaze lowered, the woman hastily made her way towards the door, but Travis firmly held his ground, preventing the lady from escaping past him. He looked directly at her, his expression serious and commanding.

The woman, Diana, mustered up the courage to speak, though her voice trembled slightly. “Excuse me, Sir,” she pleaded, her eyes still avoiding Travis’s gaze.

Edwin, seething with anger, lashed out, “You don’t have to be like that, Diana. Whoever this bastard is, he will be fired immediately! Come back here!” Edwin’s eyes were fixed on Diana, his anger palpable.

Diana swallowed nervously and reluctantly returned to Edwin's side.

Travis chuckled in disbelief, finding amusement in the situation. "Well, well, Edwin. It seems you've grown some courage. You want to fire me?"
