It was a gloomy day, the sun hid behind the clouds. Ajax woke up earlier than usual. It was that time of the year again.

The windows of his room in the van house was wet. It was as though rain fell but Ajax knew better.

It was another dewy night, maybe it drizzled too.

He took his time dressing up and getting ready. He cleaned the house just like his mother would.

The scent of her pancakes wafted through his nose. His grandfather, Vaughn was the one in the kitchen. He was preparing breakfast with his mom’s recipe.
