Who?" asked Esme in a half-whisper while smoothing her messy hair.

Jason shook his head. He took the clothes hanging on the wall and put them on in a hurry.

Jason then made sure that the clothes worn by Esme were neat again; there were no exposed parts. Because Jason didn't want anyone to see some red marks made by him on Esme's white and smooth body,

"I'm scared," Esme said softly, holding Jason's hand tightly.

"Don't worry, no one can hurt you. I will protect you, even if it costs your life," Jason answered softly, then kissed Esme's forehead gently. Jason hugged Esme tightly to give his wife peace.

"Quickly open the door!" shouted a voice from outside for some time.

The rented door kept banging on many times before Jason opened the door. Jason approached the door, followed by Esme's footsteps from behind, who held Jason's arm tightly. Esme's hands seemed to be sweating coldly from fright.

"Could it be Papa's messenger?" whispered Esme again, who kept clinging to Jason's body
