1. Regret

Sebastian is on cloud nine today as tonight he will be going to propose to his girlfriend, Mia, by giving this silver ring which he bought from saving a little every month from my salary.

Oh! I am sorry I forgot to introduce him to all of you. He is Sebastian, a delivery boy who is working hard day and night to make his future bright and to marry his long time girlfriend, Mia. As she loves to buy expensive things whenever they went shopping, he was bound to do a different part time job to meet her expenses because he didn't want to see her sad at any cost.

And if these materialistic things make her happy, then he is  ready to sell himself too without thinking for once. Afterall his love for her is unconditional and infinite.

But for now, he is at work and on his way to find the customer's room and deliver the food to him. He was sure he or she must be waiting for him eagerly and he was very punctual with his time when it comes to his work. 

Finally he found the room, knocked on the door and started waiting patiently to get the door open. 

The door was opened by an ugly man. He was sorry for describing him as ugly but after witnessing his face from so close, instantly, that word only struck his mind. 

The man was staring at him for quite a long time and passed a strange smile to him which he did not get. The man asked him to come inside. 

He was surprised and confused at the same time as generally delivery men should not enter a client's room. 

He first thought to resist his offer but then he realized he needed money. What if, his this gesture made him angry and he complained about that to his Boss so he entered his room hesitantly. 

" Who knocked on the door?", a familiar voice came from behind just when he entered the room and started looking here and there in awkwardness. 

He turned himself towards the source of the voice to check whether he was daydreaming or was it seriously his girlfriend's voice whom he heard a few seconds ago. 

He was so shocked when he entered the room as his girlfriend, Mia, was coming out of the washroom wearing her nightgown. She was looking so gorgeous in that attire but he diverted his mind from going there when he realized where she was actually in this state. 

"Why were you here?"Mia asked surprisingly as if she was caught red-handed. 

"What were you doing here, Mia?", Sebastian asked, stressing every word to make her realize her mistake. 

"I.. Umm...", Mia stuttered, as she was speechless to define her presence there. 

"Well, don't be so shocked and surprised guys. Actually it was me who called Sebastian here as I thought it would be really interesting seeing Sebastian here,  as it was his right to know the whereabouts of her so called girlfriend, who was actually busy spending some quality time with me. ", The ugly man said, smirking, from behind. 

Sebastian was shocked from the core and no words came from his mouth. His jaws clenched and he tightened his fist in anger. 

" As you have already witnessed the scene in front of your eyes, Seb, and found the truth. Now you can leave from here because I am breaking up with you."Mia announced, shrugging her shoulders as if there was nothing happened there. 

"Ahm.. Ahm.. Well, Young boy now I guess you know who she belongs to and who has the potential to carry her expenses and make her every wish get fulfilled instantly. 

She has chosen me over you. So now you could leave from here before I called the security to throw you out by kicking your ass. ", The ugly man whispered closely to Sebastian's ears and started laughing like a maniac, insulting and humiliating him in front of his girlfriend. 

Oops! Sorry, his ex- girlfriend who just broke up with him a few minutes ago, to start her new relationship with this old, ugly man. 

Sebastian's heart was breaking into pieces witnessing the situation and he  felt a sharp pain in his chest. 

But he controlled his emotions to come out on his face and maintained a poker face so that no one could read his facial expressions and guess how heartbroken he was feeling at the moment. 

"Why Mia? Why did you do this to me? What was my mistake? Didn't I love you so much that no one in this world could ever do it?

 Didn't I fill all your wishes no matter how much time it took as I had to do extra part time jobs to collect that money to fulfill your wishes? Then why? ", Sebastian questioned looking at her, pain visible in his expressions. 

" Because you are a really poor guy, Seb and I really can't wait for that day when you will get rich in the future. 

What if you never get that rich? I can't spend my whole life with a beggar like you. Yes, you fulfilled my every wish but it always took a lot of time as you never had that amount of money to buy those things instantly. 

You always made me wait for everything and I don't have that much patience. I wish to have a boyfriend who would buy anything I wanted instantly, not after taking so long that I even forgot what I really wished for. 

And trust me, Mr. Nick has that loving and charming personality which you don't have and I love him for that. ", Mia said, looking at that ugly man lovingly. 

Every word that came out from her mouth made him feel humiliated and insulted but he again controlled himself showing no emotions on his face. 

But as we know everything has a limit and when someone exceeds it then we have no option then to show them their real place. 

The moment her so called loving boyfriend, Mr. Nick interrupted between them, Sebastian lost his temper and no it was really not his fault as his words raised his anger. 

"When you were busy delivering food, I was spending a happy time with your girlfriend and not to forget I really enjoyed that time with her on my bed.", The ugly man said, interfering in their argument.

That was it. Sebastien lost his temper and punched really hard on Nick's face making him whimper in pain. 

"You have made your decision Mia, but make sure you don't regret it in future as Karma hits really hard.", Sebastian said before leaving and slammed the door behind him.
