Prologue
“Allastor! Allastor!” His own name rattled around his head, though he wasn’t sure whether it was his own voice or Luna’s. His knees buckled beneath him, shaking so violently it felt like an earthquake had erupted inside his legs. He clutched at his chest, his heart hammering a frantic beat. Sweat poured down his face, blurring his vision. He could feel the deep thrum of fear coursing through every inch of him.
“This is insane—insane!” he rasped, his voice cracking under the weight of his terror. His gaze darted toward Luna, her pale face dazed, her lips trembling but silent. He needed her to speak. He needed her to say something, anything, to break this suffocating silence. “Luna! You said the creatures in this forest can talk, right? They can reason, can’t they?” His voice rose, trembling and desperate, barely keeping the sobs from spilling out.
Luna’s wide, unfocused eyes finally flickered toward him, and she gave the faintest nod. It wasn’t enough to reassure him, but it was all she offered.
“All right, then. All right. That’s—good. That’s good,” he muttered, though his voice betrayed him. His words were a feeble shield against the icy grip of panic tightening around him.
Then he heard it. The steady, heavy footfalls of the beasts that crept closer, vibrating the ground beneath him like the drumbeat of doom. Allastor’s breath hitched as he turned to face them. His blood ran cold.
The creatures, towering and golden-skinned, were unlike anything he’d ever seen. They resembled goblins, but there was nothing primitive or dim-witted about them. Their eyes gleamed with cruel intelligence, their grins sharp enough to cut. They held weapons grotesquely large and hideously jagged—a gleaming axe, arrows dripping with the stink of decay, and a greatsword so massive it looked absurd in any other context but this nightmare.
Allastor’s sword felt pitifully small in his trembling hands. His grip on the hilt tightened as the creatures closed in. The blade seemed to mock him, as if it knew it stood no chance against the monstrous arsenal before him.
“H-Hey!” Allastor stammered, his voice cracking. He took a shaky step backward, the uneven ground threatening to topple him. “If you can talk, then you can listen, right? Let’s not—let’s not do this, okay? There’s been a misunderstanding. We’ll leave. You’ll never see us again, I swear!”
His plea hung in the air, fragile and desperate. For a moment, he thought—hoped—that they might understand.
And then they grinned. Slow, malicious, hungry grins.
“No, no, no...” Allastor whispered, his throat dry as sandpaper. The weight of inevitability pressed down on him. His knees gave way, and he stumbled backward.
The beasts readied their weapons, the air crackling with menace.
“Luna!” Allastor screamed, his voice raw. “Run! Run now!”
Luna snapped out of her stupor, her eyes wide with shock. “What? No! What about you?”
“There’s no time! Just go!”
“I won’t leave you!” she cried, her voice breaking.
“You have to!” Allastor roared, stepping between her and the advancing creatures. His sword shook in his hands, but he held it steady, glaring at the beasts as if his defiance alone could hold them back. “If you don’t run, they’ll kill us both. You have family waiting for you—don’t waste your life here!”
“Allastor...” Her voice was barely a whisper now, laced with anguish.
“Go!” he bellowed, his voice cracking under the weight of his desperation.
Luna’s fists clenched at her sides, her face a mask of agony. But she obeyed. Turning, she fled, tears streaming down her face. Her heart screamed at her to turn back, but her legs carried her forward.
Allastor’s gaze lingered on her retreating form for a moment. “Stay alive, Luna,” he murmured.
Then he turned back to the creatures. They closed in, their weapons raised, their eyes alight with bloodlust. Time seemed to stretch and warp as they attacked. Arrows screamed through the air, an axe swung toward his neck, and the monstrous greatsword arced toward his chest.
Allastor’s life flashed before his eyes—a kaleidoscope of memories, laughter, and loss. His lips twisted into a bitter smile.
“So this is it,” he muttered, tears streaking his face. “What a pathetic end...”
He braced for the pain, for the final blow.
But it didn’t come.
A brilliant yellow light burst into existence around him, forming a protective barrier. The weapons clanged against it, their deadly momentum halted.
Allastor’s eyes flew open, disbelief etched across his face.
“What... what is this?” he breathed.
The creatures recoiled, their snarls turning to expressions of shock. One of them hissed, its voice trembling. “Impossible! A Godite Ranker!”

Chapter 1: Allastor FrauzzThe morning unfurled gently over the Kingdom of Kreo, casting a warm golden light over the small, bustling town of Irongrass. Its cobbled streets stirred with life, each corner humming with its own quiet purpose. Groups of burly men, sweat glistening on their brows, grunted and strained as they worked on building their strength—a daily ritual that echoed faintly across the town square. Nearby, a handful of carriage drivers leaned lazily against their vehicles, chatting in low voices as they awaited the day's first passengers. And then there were the Royal Soldiers, ever-watchful, their polished armor gleaming in the early sunlight. Their presence brought a sense of order, a fragile calm to a town that knew its peace was only as steady as the vigilance of its protectors. In the heart of the town, there stood a grand wooden house, its timeworn beams bearing the stories of countless lives. On this tranquil morning, the heavy doors creaked open, releasing a flur
Chapter 2: The Adventurer's Guild At that moment, it is as if Allastor's world stops spinning. He couldn't accept this sudden dark revelation. His Aunt Ishara admitted that his grandfather has gone and will never be able to return again. However, even though indirectly, he still realized what those words mean. He realized that his Grandfather Allan has passed away. Allastor felt his body weakening. Even though he doesn't want to believe it, the tears dripping down from his eyes are showing his real emotion. “You are kidding me again, Aunt Ishara,” Allastor smiled bitterly as he looked at the lady with a teary eye. “You are just kidding, right?” "But you should know it soone-" Allastor did not give enough time for Ishara to finish her word. He vigorously runs inside the wooden Orphanage house as he keeps on wiping his uncontrollable tears. “You are just kidding me!” Ishara tries to reach Allastor's shoulder, however, only the wind w
Chapter 3: Full-time Adventurer! Ever since Allastor entered the Adventurer's guild is that he couldn't measure how excited he was. nonetheless, as the huge man's word immediately rang through his ears, he became nervous. “I worked here for the past few years and did not see you here before.” deep and earnestly said the huge man, “are you sure that you were not lost, kid?” Allastor, feeling startled, paused for a moment. He looked at the huge man and noticed that on the left side of his suit was a patch of a burning sword symbol, also known as the symbol of the Adventurer's guild. At this point is that he now has an idea of why he was blocked by the huge man. “Do you know that you can not enter this building unless you are part of the Adventurer's guild's government?” “An officer of Adventurer's guild!” In Allastor's mind. “If I will be looking funny and ridiculous, I will be forced to be kicked out. I need to state my goal here!” Allastor coughed a bit and he puffed out his ches
Chapter 4: Cursed Sword! Another three days have passed since Allastor became a full-time Adventurer, and right now, he is on the highest floor of Adventurer's guild and is about to take his first quest. In those past three days, he used the chance to get familiar with the Adventurer's guild and its rules and regulations. Allastor realized that the lowest floor or the underground floor is also the floor of registration for the aspiring adventurers. A registrar will be accepted as an official adventurer if they can prove that they already can feel the magicules in their surroundings. And it is just so easy to prove, it is because compared to a normal human, their surging magicules are much stronger. In addition, it can be proven on the registration floor that a human can now feel the magicules if they will just simply show their Magicule mark. In the Kingdom, only the people who become a ranker or can feel the magiciles have this mark on their body. Asid
Chapter 5: Fragments“Why do I feel like this sword is absorbing my Magicules?” Immediately asked by Allastor. He was still staring at the sword with an earnest but confused expression. The old man smirked. “Hoho, so you also noticed it, huh?” “Honestly, there are no weapons here in my shop that can meet the price you want. Even the cheapest weapon I have will cost you forty Silver coins.” He looked at the black sword in Allastor's hands. “In addition, I don't intend to sell that sword. It is cursed and causes bad luck to its user. There are already several Adventurers and Royal soldiers who used that word before to a battle, but in the end, they just lose and gave up something precious to them...” Allastor's forehead wrinkled. “Forty Silver coins?! That is too much for a weapon!” “Is the price the only thing you have heard?!!” Feeling shocked, the Old man responds. He was already expecting that Alastor will be scared of his warning. “Do you not care about the bad luck I am talki
Chapter 6: Allastor and the Forest of Kurnell In this world, the monstrous creatures that live here are what they called Magicule beasts. And just like humans, these monsters are also ranked just like them. Their strength can also be classified according to their levels and ranks. All of them start at the Bronze rank up to the other higher ranks. According to the famous story around the whole Kreo Kingdom and also according to the rumors of the elders, Magicule Beast and Humans were used to living together before. There are no blood-shedding war and chaos in that timeline, and both sides were full of love and teamwork. There has even no discrimination from each side. yet, one day, when a powerful god descended from the sky, he manipulates the minds of the Humans and Magicule Beasts. He planted hatred and Hostility inside their heart, causing them to slaughter their opposite species. No one knows the reason for the doing of that god, still, they believe that he only did those for hi
Chapter 7: Level up“I did it! I won against a Magicule beast!”A minute had passed since Allastor lay on the dry leaves, and now that he had recovered from the tiredness he felt before, Allastor get up and he immediately came closer to the Devil Rat's corpse. He held his sword tighter as he sliced off its body into pieces. He only stopped slicing at the corpse when he found a small glowing ball. This ball is white and it is also coated in white glowing smoke.“This could be its Life core.” Earnestly said by Allastor. He bent down as he grabbed that glowing object. “I only need to break this thing to absorb the stored magicules of this Devil Rat.”Allastor grabbed tightly at the Life core. It made a crackling noise as it get crushed within his hand. Liberated energy of magicule spread to his surroundings. He immediately tried to absorb it into his body.although, he was shocked by what happened next. He was expecting that the magicules will be automatically absorbed by his body after
Chapter 8: Beast tamer“Sword-bash!” Simultaneously with the young man's shout, his sword glows. It was as if his sword became a hammer—violently slashing down towards the three devil rats. With a reverberating flesh-cutting sound, blood gushes out from one of the magicule beasts' feet. Its front feet flew in the air, causing it to fall and lose balance on the ground.“Eek!!”From afar, the green cougar raised its eyebrows when it saw what happened to the Giant rat. howbeit, it stays still where it stood as if waiting for someone to arrive.Seeing what happened to the devil rat who lost its pair of feet, Allastor didn't let the chance slip away. He again launched towards the wounded devil rat. But, just like what he was expecting, the two uninjured devil rats didn't let him continue his plan. Those devil rats surge towards Allastor, making him fail to kill the injured one. When there are only a few remaining inches before the giant rats' attacks reach Allastor, using his forearm as a
Chapter 44: End of war(1) The moment before Amon rescues Randall and Jasper ... "You are already receiving damages? What a pity, I still haven't used all my powers, you know?" Stallion said pridefully. He smirked savagely. "Stallion! What are you doing?! Ballion and you have to run away now! If we stay here any longer, we will all die! Do everything you can to run away, and refrain from killing your opponent!" Stallion was immediately alarmed when he heard his Commander's voice in his mind.Stallion looked at Amon that was intensely exchanging attacks with Leonardo Dracus. Amon's worried look once glanced at him. "I understand, boss." in Stallion's mind. His expression became serious. He didn't feel enough yet and he still wanted to play for a while, but he was also worried about what Amon was reminding him. He concentrated a large portion of his Magicules to flow in both of his hands. Feeling satisfied, he quickly leaped backward to find his desired angle. In those moments Alla
Chapter 43: Boiling war"I won't let you do what you want to happen, Amon. You shouldn't get into trouble knowing you have no way out."Leonardo gathered the Magicules on his legs, causing the pavement surrounding his feet to crack. When he had gathered enough energy, he stamped his Foot and violently rushed at Amon. He waved one of his axes at his opponent's neck, but Amon avoid it with only a little movement.SHWOOOM !!That attack was so powerful that even the crushed gravel around them was blown away by the wind. However, this is still not their true strength, they are both holding back for different reasons. This time Amon also drew his weapon. It is a black colored sword with a gold dragon design.Leonardo didn't wait any longer, using his other Ax, he waved it at Amon again.CLATAANG !!Amon parried it away, and again, a violent wind immediately surged around them. If there were people only two meters away from them, it probably would fly slightly as well. When the wind died do
Chapter 42: Heating war! There was dust around them, and when that dust had disappeared, one of the three arrived, the red-haired man, grinned."I suggest you just withdraw the weapon you're holding, Leonardo Dracus.""Amon?!" Leonardo's eyes trembled at what he saw and he could not believe what was happening. He did not know why these bandits would come right at the time of the spies' execution. He could not be wrong, there was something wrong with what was happening right now. "How do you know that the execution is taking place in this area?!"Amon just ignored what he heard and meaningfully shook his head, after which, he grinned violently. "It doesn't matter how I found out what you intended to do to my friends. We're here to steal them back from you."Shortly after he spoke that language, Amon immediately placed his palm in the direction of Leonardo and Allastor Frauzz. The circle of energy condensed in his palm, and when he was satisfied with the accumulated energy, he immediate
Chapter 41: The failed trial of the spies"It is starting.""It's about to start.""I still can't really believe ..."The exchange of weak whispers spread among the spectators. The spectators were currently on the opposite of the stage in front of the palace, and their numbers seemed to be comparable to the population of ants. There are so many of them, and the reason they gather in this place is because of the pervading news — that the two Ibzaar brothers have been accused of being the spies of the Dark Alone Bandits. They are also scheduled to be executed on this very day and place. On each side of the stage, ten Knight-Commanders are fairly scattered there. They prevent the spectators from getting close to the stage itself. The guests continued to exchange weak whispers. Only then did they fall silent when they noticed the familiar figure, the royal figure they respected most.Tak. Tak. Tak.From the side part of the wide stage, a tall man presently appeared. Nothing could be heard
Chapter 40: A News that shook the whole Kreo Kingdom“Stop it Allastor Frauzz!” Feeling extremely angry, Stallion shouted. His whole face is also red with his anger. “Once I got out of this shackle, I will skin you alive!!”Allastor didn't respond. It was as if he didn't hear anything because he immediately slashed his sword towards Ballion Ibzaar's neck. The time seemed to slow down as the blade of his sword started closing to his brother's neck. “Ballion!!” Frantically, yet extremely angry yelled Stallion Ibzaar. He felt as if his heart has been pierced by a lot of needles and he didn't even notice that his tears are already flowing. On the other side, the extremely pale Balliom Ibzaar couldn't do anything but only close his eyes. There is no hope. He feels that it was already his last time closing his eyes. He didn't know when he could open his eyes again or if it was even possible? Upon closing his eyes, his tears began flowing out as well. He was still too young to die....Yet,
Chapter 39: Balanced Judgement“If you don't have something good to say, you could just leave.” Said Stallion wrinkling his forehead. Until now is that he hates this person so much. He is the reason why he was in this cell for a week now. “Hmm...” Rubbing his chin, Ayanno responded. He is just pretending that he is thinking of something, yet, in fact, is that he has already calculated all the things he would say. “Didn't you like what we did for you? You are the only person in this kingdom that acquired a title of Head-General. However, I'm really sorry to hear that your new title didn't even reach the official announcement.”Because of that, Ballion Ibzaar's forehead wrinkled even more. He can still remember clearly what happened in the past two months. Leonardo promoted him from General to Head-General. Albeit, opposite of what he should feel at that promotion, he became unsatisfied with the result of that promotion. After becoming a Head-General, his tasks have been doubled. In a
Chapter 38: Calm down, MonsterTo a rather dim hallway, the two of Stallion Ibzaar and Ballion Ibzaar could be seen leaning on a wall of a Criminal's cell. Their hands are locked in special shackles, causing them to not be able to use their magicules. After two months of strict observation of the actions of the Ibzaar brothers, the secret attacks from the bandits dissipated. Because of that, Leonardo Dracus has proven that these Brothers are the root cause of these planned attacks of the Dark Alone Bandits. They have been locked on this cell for about a week now. Their shackles is a Special “Magicule-Suppressing Shackles”. It looks so simple if you will look at it, but it has the ability to prevent the ranker with a Platinum rank and below to use magicules. This is also the reason why they lost their ability to get away from this cell. “I feel hungry again...” Whispered Balliom beside his older brother. Stallion's eyes turn to Balliom and wrinkles formed on his forehead. “Tsk! Endur
Chapter 37: Invitation to a monster“I won't prolong this discussion anymore, young sir. The King wanted to invite you to his chamber. The king is really excited to see the warrior who defeated most of the Dark Mantises.”When he heard it, an aura of happiness coated Allastor Frauzz's body. Allastor is so happy at these moments. He slowly sees the result of his diligence. This current scenario belongs to the goal he wanted to achieve, for him to be known by the kingdom. This is now the start and what's next is for him to know the identity of the Criminals he will kill.Allastor immediately responded to what the general has said. He nodded and said. “I'll go” before he walked beside the general. Allastor's attention turns to Kethra Beck that is currently dazed at the two of them. He smiled and nodded to the daze lady. “I'll go ahead now, General Kethra.”To what Allastor did, Ayanno's gaze turns to the lady ad well. He slightly nodded to her too. “We will go ahead now, General Kethra.”
Chapter 36: Fame, Friend, and Fear“You-you have really defeated the Death Scythe Mantis, lady Kethra?!” Yelled Brook Izizule in shock. His look turn towards the lady General and a sparkling light formed in his eyes. Until now is that he couldn't believe it. “You are really amazing!”On the wall of the cave, Allastor Frauzz can be seen leaning as he confidently nodded his head. Beside him is General Kethra Beck. Feeling a bit shy, she is currently scratching her cheek. Allastor agrees with what Brook has said. For him, Kethra Beck is really amazing. To large numbers of rankers who never be able to step on the rank of Platinum, Allastor has long been believed that he will never be able to achieve that rank anymore. However, he was lucky that he had acquired a skill that enhances his speed to level up. Yet, the idea alone that Kethra Beck is a Platinum Rank despite not having the Natural Skill Core-Glow that Allastor has is a really amazing feat. Just how much she could grow if ever she
