It is one in the morning. The sky is still filled with the night’s darkness. It would take a couple more hours before the two suns of Ragna rise over the horizon. The orange and the yellow ones that bring light and energy to this world. But before that can come to pass, there is the stillness of the night.

Within the castle of the king, there is but a single light that is lit. Not on the chambers of the lord of this kingdom, nor is it on any of the quarters of the servants. Instead, the light is opened on the library of the castle. A large room filled with a multitude of books. And the one who is eagerly reading through a large pile on his table is none other than Zeke Elwood himself.

He arrived in Forge Kingdom in the afternoon. He then followed his arrival with a well-deserved rest before being called for supper. Zeke gladly had his fill of the food which, wasn’t even that much for a feast. He can see that much effort has been placed into preparing the meal but, it doesn’t feel like

The following day, Sylvia woke up with a very bad headache. Nobody can blame her because, she did go through something very excruciating earlier that day. Specifically, the encounter with the hero of her kingdom, Zeke Elwood. She didn’t want to reveal the impoverished state of Forge. At least not yet. She knows that it’s difficult to hide but, she expected that it would at least take a couple of days before the hero pieces together the facts. But that’s not what happened. Unfortunately, Zeke found out within a day and, now, she has to think of ways on how to get the hero to be more appreciative of the kingdom.“This is it Sylvia.” She muttered to herself. “We finally have our own hero. We can’t afford to fuck this up.”She wanted to start the day by having the throne room inspected. After that, it’ll be cleaned by the maids. She doesn’t know why she hasn’t thought of this before. It’s such a simple concept after all. The throne room needs to always be presentable because, nobody knows

[Main Quest – Defeat the Demon Lord] This is the thing that’s displayed in Zeke’s screen. To be completely honest, he thinks that it is only right that this is called the main quest. But in games, there’s definitely other main quests that lead to the final one. Things that will move him closer to getting strong enough to face an entity as powerful as a demon lord. But that’s not happening. Instead, what he has are a multitude of side quests. A bunch of them that’s lined up for the same purpose that he mentioned. To make him strong enough to face the demon lord and, these are some of them. [Restore Economy of the Forge Kingdom] [Restore Military Prowess of the Forge Kingdom] [Restore the Dignity of the King of the Forge Kingdom] Basically, most of the quests that he has are on a scale that he has to help the Forge kingdom in some way. There are some that are an exception but, the thing is, if he wants efficiency more than anything else, then he has to begin with the quests

Before the night of Zeke’s first fight against the goblins. He first continued the discussion he’s having with Sylvia. One that had a space made after Zeke stated his job class. After he said that he is a Blacksmith Assassin. A statement that has now left Sylvia in a state that can only be described as being dumbfounded.“My lord, I think I didn’t hear you right. Did you just say that you’re a…”“A Blacksmith.” Zeke repeated, not even letting the dark elf finish with whatever it was that she was planning to say. And, he even added to be more precise. “An Assassin Blacksmith. That is my job class.”Zeke knows that, in this world, it is difficult to get your secondary job class. There are specific requirements that first needs to be fulfilled before one can claim this after all. In fact, it is so difficult to gain a secondary job class that the number of them within a kingdom won’t even go beyond a hundred. That is how rare they are.But Zeke’s already past all of that. He’s past the no

Right after the conversation with Sylvia, Zeke and the dark elf went straight into the heart of the city. The place where one specific blacksmith can be found – none other than King Heimdal himself. A king that rules over the dark elves and has made the most splendid weapons throughout the years. This is the introduction given to Daemon regarding the king. The very words that came out of Sylvia’s lips. He can see the enthusiasm on the face of the dark elf while talking about this very king which, tells him one other thing, that even though Forge Kingdom is in this state, the king isn’t someone that the people hates. At least not absolutely. In light of this, Zeke and Sylvia went down a spiraling path. It seems that the place they’re visiting is not above ground. No. It is under it. And as Zeke and Sylvia took what seems to be a secret route, they arrived, in the blink of an eye, to a door that stands in their way.Even outside, Zeke can hear the hammering of steel. There’s something a

“My lord, someone is here to see you.”These are Sylvia’s words as soon as she entered the forge. The king continued hammering down the weapon that he’s making. But he still found the time to give a reply nonetheless.“Sylvia, I told you that I’m busy didn’t I?” It’s at this point that Zeke felt the overwhelming difference between him and the dark elf that’s fixated on making the weapon before him. A large gap in strength to be exact that, he believes, is something that he wouldn’t be able to overcome any time soon. Not with his own capabilities at least. A challenge that he’s now gladly taken upon himself.“You seem to be a very busy person my lord.” Zeke suddenly said. He was told by Sylvia beforehand not to say anything until he’s given permission. But with the way that things are going, he knows that this would take too long. If he has to wait for the king to be ready, the time for them to hold a discussion may never come anymore. So he’s just going to force it and, sure enough,

The king stopped in his tracks. There is a silence that spread once more. Far greater than the one that’s already passed. And with this, came a stare. A deadly stare that is directed right at Zeke Elwood. Making the human feel the animosity of the great king of the dark elves. Making him feel the deadly rage that can result in his death.“If I were you boy, I would be careful what I’d say next.” The king began. “I am not a king who has patience with impudence.”The heat became much more unbearable for Zeke all of a sudden. He can feel his nerves all trembling, every muscle, every fiber of his being, is screaming for him to run away. He can be broken like a twig. That is how easy it would be for the king of the Forge Kingdom to kill him. And his whole being knows this, down to his very core.“Forgive me, my king.” Zeke bowed his head right away. “But to get your full attention, I thought that an action like this is necessary for me to take.”“And you have that now. “HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”The king bellowed in laughter. His strong and loud voice spread across the four corners of the forge. Revibrating so powerfully that Zeke felt his body tingle just from this. Any longer and he’d also lose his hearing probably. That’s how strong the laugh of the king is. Thankfully, Zeke didn’t have to endure for too long as, the laughter came to an abrupt halt.“You want to take all of the scarp daggers? That’s what you came to me for?” The king wiped a tear that formed on one of his eyes. “Oh that’s priceless.”Now, Zeke has changed the mood entirely. He started off with a feeling that he’s about to be killed. But now it’s died down because of this new statement of his that’s just as absurd as the first. But he knows that this privilege that he has would be gone soon if he doesn’t make full use of it. That’s why he spoke as fast as he could. Following up when the king stopped speaking.“This is a way for me to show my worth to the kingdom my king.” Zeke said. “I wis

Dawn has broken over the horizon. The sun’s rays began to reach out to everything that it can touch. All that exists within the world of Ragna – basking it in sunlight. And with this happening, there is a single person who failed to witness it again. None other than the very ruler of the kingdom of Forge. Herald Ironforge. The dark elf continued with his work, not wanting to be bothered. Not even the slightest bit. He hammered down on the steel at the anvil creating a new weapon, a different one compared to what he was finishing the day that he and Zeke Elwood held their conversation. Though his focus isn’t necessarily on his craft at the moment because of another dark elf who’s in the same room as he. Sylvia Swiftfoot.“You seem to be investing more and more time inside my workshop Sylvia.” The king said. “Do you need anything?”“I’m just here to report that he isn’t back yet.” Sylvia replied. “He said that he’d be back today but, nobody from the walls has caught sight of him, not ev

Elves have been called out to the middle of the barracks. To be exact, these are the soldier elves that are made to line up there and not speak a single word. Though this kind of command never works the way it’s intended if there are no commanding officers taking charge of the whole ordeal. The elves are lined up but there is nobody giving them orders. As such, it is only natural because of the level of boredom that they’re experiencing, for them to begin murmuring among themselves. Using as low of a tone as possible to do this so as to make sure that they do not attract any unwanted attention. And, this is one of the conversations going around in this place.“Hey, why are we called here? Do you guys have a clue?” The first elf asked the one beside him. On the line at his right and standing at the same position as he. That being said, the ones in front of them are their buddies and friends so these soldiers don’t mind that some talking is going on.“You idiot. Are you living under a r

The fight between Sylvia and Herald set off this way. All of the bystanders witnessed how sparks flew in the air. Mixed with afterimages after afterimages of these two great fighters. There is no doubt in everyone’s mind, after the first two minutes, that these two are going toe to toe. Impressing them even more especially considering that one of the contenders, Lady Sylvia, is using nothing more than a regular sword. And yet she is giving a good fight to such a gigantic weapon as a greatsword. In turn, everyone is also impressed with their king who is wielding the said gigantic weapon. It is not easy to swing the weapon around, nor to make nimble movements with it. This is basically seen as an impossibility and yet, King Herald is somehow able to do just this very thing with utmost ease. As if the rules do not apply to him at all. As if he transcends all human reason and logic with the way he moves his body around. The first few seconds where these two fought, everyone witnessed how

    Something New

There are three training grounds that are currently being used. Within each one is a dark elf that’s assigned to watch over the rest as well as train them to the best of their abilities. For the archers and all other long ranged combatants, Aries is the one doing this work. For the spearmen and the other mid ranged combatants, it is Silver leading them.Though Silver is also, technically, an archer herself, she is also a well-rounded fighter. As such, she is comfortable even if she’s placed in this kind of position. Where she has to take up the role of mentoring with middle ranged weapons making her the most flexible.Obviously, it isn’t the first two mentioned that Sylvia went to. The dark elf didn’t bother going there because Caster made it specifically clear that it is in his training grounds that the king has gone to. King Herald Ironforge has gone to the training grounds of the melee fighters and the vanguards. All of which are being coached by Caster. When Sylvia arrived at the

    The Progress

A day has passed since the events that happened in the workshop of the king. Sylvia, as a good right hand of the king, did not broadcast this to the whole of the kingdom. Nor did she even tell a single soul. She kept the information to herself, showing just how professional she is at handling things and, showing that the event that transpired isn’t enough to make her neglect her duties and responsibilities to the rest of the kingdom.Things need to keep on moving. Especially because they have to gather the strength needed to protect their kingdom all on their own. But more than that, they also need to gain enough power to be a self-sustaining kingdom that doesn’t need the help of the other kingdoms in order to survive with the basic necessities. That’s what Sylvia is currently working on. Her mind hard pressed on the task at hand as her eyes stared at the vast horizon. The open field where the crops have been planted and, are being taken care of partially using the ingenuity of the de

    The King

Within the next couple of days that passed, Zeke continued his sole travel within the kingdom of the demon lord. This action worried the dark elf Sylvia because of the dangers that it posed. But, this same worry is diminished by the fact that she has been told by Aries about the plans of Zeke. As well as the abilities that the hero learned when he named his ego weapon.Adding to this is the fact that the hero’s glow stone is still, well, glowing. This is an item that is embedded in the throne of every monarch of every kingdom. Reminding them that the hero is of equal status to them. But more than this, the stone tells them whether or not their hero is still alive. A useful function when the hero is some considerable distance away from the king or queen and, to anyone who can make a speedy report. That being said, what has been mentioned offers nothing more than slight relief. Sylvia is still worried sick and, the only reason she can still tone this down is because she also has the who

“Well, I guess that’s that.” Daemon said as he looked at the unconscious hero that lay on the ground. “You’re the first hero to ever come and visit me so I have to give you some credit for that at least right? Though that doesn’t mean that you’re necessarily the best already. I’ve yet to see the other heroes and if they do the same stupid act as you, I doubt I’d spare them the same way.”The way that Daemon is speaking to Zeke at that moment would make you think that the hero can actually hear him. Zeke can’t of course. He’s already forced to be unconscious. Though that barely matters for Daemon. He doesn’t care about things like these. He simply wants to say what he wants and, that is exactly what he continued doing.“Anyway, you’re not going to forget about all of this. You’re head’s already been filled with a protective spell that secures your memories.” Daemon said as he placed his hand over the head of the hero. “There’s really something about you that’s uncanny my dear hero. “It’s been a long time since I flew this distance.” A deep and sharp tone. That is the voice of the creature that landed right in front of Zeke. There is no warning of his coming. There are no signs. Before Zeke can even prepare for it, Daemon’s already landed right in front of him. Gently. Elegantly. Without a single sound being made. Without a single stone being shaken. And that is all the more reason why this whole thing is frightening. Because, a creature with such an immense amount of power has appeared in front of him in such a silent way.Every fiber of Zeke’s being is telling him to run away. To run as fast as he can and never look back. There are no thoughts of fighting coming through his head at all. Not even the slightest bit humored his imagination because, the only thing playing in his mind is his own death. The thing playing in his mind is how he will be killed by this being that just appeared. Yet his body can’t move.No matter how much he’s telling it to, his body just

Zeke Elwood, the hero of Forge, now has access to a total of one hundred summons. All of which can be brought out at the same time. Just like that, in the blink of an eye, the hero has a sizable army that he can use. One that will get him through the first couple of fights within the demon kingdom. Though there is a bit of a problem mixed along with all of this.As Zeke raised his summons, there is a new notification that popped out. The text on it is connected to the summons and it reads:[Current Summon Limit Reached][Information: You have reached the limit of your summons for now. Raising another monster requires that some from the old batch be taken down using multiple methods available.“I knew it was too good to be true.” Is the only thing that Zeke can say in response to this. He already thought that something like this could happen. That there would be trouble when it comes to the summons. Though the thing is that, nothing is said about it in the details of the summoning. Entry

Zeke has entered the demon kingdom. That is a more proper term for the place that goes beyond the border of every other kingdom outside of its jurisdiction. A place that can be specifically mapped out because of the thick miasma that’s spread across the whole of the place. A thick layer of darkness that covers the domain of the demon lord. Created from the mana and aura of all the monsters and demons that thrive within this place. Something that makes the monsters stronger while also, as far as the legends and hearsay goes, weakens any other race who dares to step foot inside this place. But now that Zeke is there, it’s easy enough for him to see that all of this is nothing more than mere gossip. His body felt fine even as he entered the domain of the demon lord. But the only reason that he is this way is because of the blessing he’s received from the god that favored him.Heimdal, his sponsoring god, unbeknownst to him, has also granted him protection from the miasma of this place.
