Part of the things that Zeke read in the library during his first day in this kingdom are books about making weapons. Thanks to the fact that Forge is a kingdom of elven blacksmiths, there are various information on the library regarding weapon creation theory. Ingredients for weapon creation and, various other stuff that are connected to the said concept.

Although he has amassed all of this and, although he already has the basics of forging up in his head, this doesn’t nearly suffice for him to be able to do the act itself. He needs more and, by more, what I mean is that he needs enough practical experience. Something that he’d only be able to gain by going to the blacksmith workshops himself and, try out the craft with his own hands.

“So, where are we going this time?” Zeke asked.

“There is a person that’s good at teaching new blacksmiths my lord. He’d be perfect for you.”

“Perfect huh. Is he any good?”

“In terms of teaching? Yes. Any veteran blacksmith in this kingdom can attest t

“Right then.” Heimdal began in an upbeat tone. “If we’re really gonna do this, then we have to do it properly.”Zeke sat at the other side of the room, close enough for him to have a conversation with Heimdal. Unlike the experience that Zeke had with the king, this old man in front of him is actually holding a proper conversation. Heimdal isn’t working while the old man asked this question. No. Heimdal’s full attention is on Zeke Elwood.“So tell me Zeke.” Heimdal put down his hammer, the final sign that all of his attention is now on Zeke Elwood. “How much experience do you have with being a blacksmith?” “I don’t have any.” Is Zeke’s quick answer.“HAHAHAHAHA!’The old man began to laugh his heart out again. It’s obvious that Heimdal thinks that Zeke is joking. Who wouldn’t when, being a blacksmith by job class means that a person needs to have prior experience in the forge. A large amount of time to be exact which, humans don’t normally have the luxury of learning because of their

Zeke left after having a short discussion with Sylvia. He took all of the information that he needed from the female dark elf before he made his way outside the kingdom. The second time he’s doing this, with dangers being as unbelievably high as the first time that Zeke went out.Sylvia wanted to join him but, Zeke told her not to. The hero said that she would just get in the way. And though this may sound cocky and arrogant for Zeke to claim, the fact remains that he’s able to say this in the same tone that he’s always using when speaking with Sylvia. A tone that suggested that his plan will work and that, he’ll accomplish what he’s set out to do.Hence, Sylvia is left to simply aiding Zeke to the best of her abilities. Giving the hero a good cloak and armor, as well as the fastest horse that can be offered by the kingdom. And with all of these being granted, Zeke stormed off. A hero that’s going to fight all on his own – carrying the weight of the entire kingdom on his shoulders.Sy

Zeke now sat in the middle of the forest, with all of the flames he set being extinguished by him as well. Unlike when he first set something on fire, he actually has a way to stop it this time around and, this is in the form of [Water Crystals]. This does the opposite of ignition crystals, these ones offer a rain of some sort. Not potent enough to be used as a weapon but, useful in cases of burning which, does happen to the kingdom of Forge every now and then. That’s why the kingdom has these stones in large quantities, as well as the ignition ones. That being said, Zeke is now viewing all of the rewards that came with the fight. Including the new skills that he gained because of this. Yet, unlike what he expected, it isn’t new skills that he gained. It’s upgrades.[The skill “Cheapshot” has upgraded!][You have acquired the skill Cheap Strike!][Information: Increases damage from cheap tricks and tactics by 50%][The skill “Swift” has upgraded!][You have acquired the skill Agility!

“Everyone else, leave.”Adeline ordered this as soon as the news arrived. This is the moment that I’ve mentioned earlier, when this great general actually throws away his rationality, all for the sake of getting a petty revenge against a hero who, isn’t even thinking of him at that moment.“Explain everything to me.” He sternly said. “Clearly.”“He’s here sir.” The soldier repeated. “The way that the scouts described it, he’s definitely the one that’s running towards the second horde that we sent. Black hair, slender build and, not being of the same race as the dark elves. That’s definitely him.”“What?!” The eyes of Adeline widened as he slammed his hand on the table. Getting up abruptly and making the chair that he was sitting on fall down. “You’re only telling me this now?”“D-Don’t you want him to die sir?” the confused soldier asked.“Of course I do you idiot! But I don’t want him getting killed by some random monsters!” Adeline stated. “He needs to die by my hands and, that has

Zeke found a stable place where he can lead the next set of monsters to. Another abandoned village that belongs to the Forge kingdom and, the reason why it’s abandoned is the same as every other place owned by this kingdom. It’s because this has been destroyed by the monsters that invaded. It’s no time to dwell on this unfortunate past though. The good thing is that Zeke doesn’t have to worry about where he has to fight. All that’s left is to wait for the monsters that should be arriving sometime soon. Zeke stayed at a spot near this village. He still has the horse that’s lent to him and, thankfully it isn’t killed yet because of all the fighting that went on. Naturally, Zeke has to ride on the animal to get back to the abandoned village quickly. For now though, all he did is wait for the monsters. He sat there patiently for a couple of hours. On top of the rundown wall until, his enemies finally appeared over the horizon.“What are those supposed to be?” Zeke muttered as he tried to

For a couple of seconds, the whole place is covered by nothing but a large cloud of smoke. One can see seeming parts of flesh and blood that flew outside the abandoned village. But the center of all this has yet to be seen. Still covered by the cloud of smoke that, began to diminish by the second. And with this happening, came a light that only a single person can see.[You leveled up.][You are now level 39][All wounds accumulated are now healed.]“Man, that was really close.” Zeke said as he got to his feet. There are holes on his clothes on the parts where he’s struck but, as far as damage goes, none can be seen on his body anymore. He’s as good as new. Just as he planned all of this to end. However, there is something that he did not expect. That is, him seeing one of the elves still alive. Gravely wounded with one arm and leg being blasted off but, nevertheless still alive. And as if this is some cruel twist of fate, Zeke sees that this is none other than the cocky elven general

Zeke went back to the kingdom on foot. Because he did this, it took him twice as long to come back. The horse he stole from the elves, as well as his own horse have both been killed. The same is true with all of the horses that the elves brought with them. Blown into thousand small pieces because of the explosions that Zeke’s mines set off.The thing that he used to make these are the lungs of these [Great Lizards]. For some reason, the lizards have something special within their lungs. That is, that the air within this is extremely flammable and, Zeke learned this when he read through a book about it. That being said, Zeke quickly understood that he can turn these into grenades but, he wanted to try something else with them if he could. That’s why he turned the items into landmines. Something that he had great success in doing. All of this led to Zeke’s victory and his journey back home that took him a whole day to finish. Elves have been called out to the middle of the barracks. To be exact, these are the soldier elves that are made to line up there and not speak a single word. Though this kind of command never works the way it’s intended if there are no commanding officers taking charge of the whole ordeal. The elves are lined up but there is nobody giving them orders. As such, it is only natural because of the level of boredom that they’re experiencing, for them to begin murmuring among themselves. Using as low of a tone as possible to do this so as to make sure that they do not attract any unwanted attention. And, this is one of the conversations going around in this place.“Hey, why are we called here? Do you guys have a clue?” The first elf asked the one beside him. On the line at his right and standing at the same position as he. That being said, the ones in front of them are their buddies and friends so these soldiers don’t mind that some talking is going on.“You idiot. Are you living under a r

    Changes Approaching

The fight between Sylvia and Herald set off this way. All of the bystanders witnessed how sparks flew in the air. Mixed with afterimages after afterimages of these two great fighters. There is no doubt in everyone’s mind, after the first two minutes, that these two are going toe to toe. Impressing them even more especially considering that one of the contenders, Lady Sylvia, is using nothing more than a regular sword. And yet she is giving a good fight to such a gigantic weapon as a greatsword. In turn, everyone is also impressed with their king who is wielding the said gigantic weapon. It is not easy to swing the weapon around, nor to make nimble movements with it. This is basically seen as an impossibility and yet, King Herald is somehow able to do just this very thing with utmost ease. As if the rules do not apply to him at all. As if he transcends all human reason and logic with the way he moves his body around. The first few seconds where these two fought, everyone witnessed how

    Something New

There are three training grounds that are currently being used. Within each one is a dark elf that’s assigned to watch over the rest as well as train them to the best of their abilities. For the archers and all other long ranged combatants, Aries is the one doing this work. For the spearmen and the other mid ranged combatants, it is Silver leading them.Though Silver is also, technically, an archer herself, she is also a well-rounded fighter. As such, she is comfortable even if she’s placed in this kind of position. Where she has to take up the role of mentoring with middle ranged weapons making her the most flexible.Obviously, it isn’t the first two mentioned that Sylvia went to. The dark elf didn’t bother going there because Caster made it specifically clear that it is in his training grounds that the king has gone to. King Herald Ironforge has gone to the training grounds of the melee fighters and the vanguards. All of which are being coached by Caster. When Sylvia arrived at the

    The Progress

A day has passed since the events that happened in the workshop of the king. Sylvia, as a good right hand of the king, did not broadcast this to the whole of the kingdom. Nor did she even tell a single soul. She kept the information to herself, showing just how professional she is at handling things and, showing that the event that transpired isn’t enough to make her neglect her duties and responsibilities to the rest of the kingdom.Things need to keep on moving. Especially because they have to gather the strength needed to protect their kingdom all on their own. But more than that, they also need to gain enough power to be a self-sustaining kingdom that doesn’t need the help of the other kingdoms in order to survive with the basic necessities. That’s what Sylvia is currently working on. Her mind hard pressed on the task at hand as her eyes stared at the vast horizon. The open field where the crops have been planted and, are being taken care of partially using the ingenuity of the de

    The King

Within the next couple of days that passed, Zeke continued his sole travel within the kingdom of the demon lord. This action worried the dark elf Sylvia because of the dangers that it posed. But, this same worry is diminished by the fact that she has been told by Aries about the plans of Zeke. As well as the abilities that the hero learned when he named his ego weapon.Adding to this is the fact that the hero’s glow stone is still, well, glowing. This is an item that is embedded in the throne of every monarch of every kingdom. Reminding them that the hero is of equal status to them. But more than this, the stone tells them whether or not their hero is still alive. A useful function when the hero is some considerable distance away from the king or queen and, to anyone who can make a speedy report. That being said, what has been mentioned offers nothing more than slight relief. Sylvia is still worried sick and, the only reason she can still tone this down is because she also has the who

“Well, I guess that’s that.” Daemon said as he looked at the unconscious hero that lay on the ground. “You’re the first hero to ever come and visit me so I have to give you some credit for that at least right? Though that doesn’t mean that you’re necessarily the best already. I’ve yet to see the other heroes and if they do the same stupid act as you, I doubt I’d spare them the same way.”The way that Daemon is speaking to Zeke at that moment would make you think that the hero can actually hear him. Zeke can’t of course. He’s already forced to be unconscious. Though that barely matters for Daemon. He doesn’t care about things like these. He simply wants to say what he wants and, that is exactly what he continued doing.“Anyway, you’re not going to forget about all of this. You’re head’s already been filled with a protective spell that secures your memories.” Daemon said as he placed his hand over the head of the hero. “There’s really something about you that’s uncanny my dear hero. “It’s been a long time since I flew this distance.” A deep and sharp tone. That is the voice of the creature that landed right in front of Zeke. There is no warning of his coming. There are no signs. Before Zeke can even prepare for it, Daemon’s already landed right in front of him. Gently. Elegantly. Without a single sound being made. Without a single stone being shaken. And that is all the more reason why this whole thing is frightening. Because, a creature with such an immense amount of power has appeared in front of him in such a silent way.Every fiber of Zeke’s being is telling him to run away. To run as fast as he can and never look back. There are no thoughts of fighting coming through his head at all. Not even the slightest bit humored his imagination because, the only thing playing in his mind is his own death. The thing playing in his mind is how he will be killed by this being that just appeared. Yet his body can’t move.No matter how much he’s telling it to, his body just

Zeke Elwood, the hero of Forge, now has access to a total of one hundred summons. All of which can be brought out at the same time. Just like that, in the blink of an eye, the hero has a sizable army that he can use. One that will get him through the first couple of fights within the demon kingdom. Though there is a bit of a problem mixed along with all of this.As Zeke raised his summons, there is a new notification that popped out. The text on it is connected to the summons and it reads:[Current Summon Limit Reached][Information: You have reached the limit of your summons for now. Raising another monster requires that some from the old batch be taken down using multiple methods available.“I knew it was too good to be true.” Is the only thing that Zeke can say in response to this. Entry

Zeke has entered the demon kingdom. That is a more proper term for the place that goes beyond the border of every other kingdom outside of its jurisdiction. A place that can be specifically mapped out because of the thick miasma that’s spread across the whole of the place. A thick layer of darkness that covers the domain of the demon lord. Created from the mana and aura of all the monsters and demons that thrive within this place. Something that makes the monsters stronger while also, as far as the legends and hearsay goes, weakens any other race who dares to step foot inside this place. But now that Zeke is there, it’s easy enough for him to see that all of this is nothing more than mere gossip. His body felt fine even as he entered the domain of the demon lord. But the only reason that he is this way is because of the blessing he’s received from the god that favored him.Heimdal, his sponsoring god, unbeknownst to him, has also granted him protection from the miasma of this place.
