“Right then.” Heimdal began in an upbeat tone. “If we’re really gonna do this, then we have to do it properly.”Zeke sat at the other side of the room, close enough for him to have a conversation with Heimdal. Unlike the experience that Zeke had with the king, this old man in front of him is actually holding a proper conversation. Heimdal isn’t working while the old man asked this question. No. Heimdal’s full attention is on Zeke Elwood.“So tell me Zeke.” Heimdal put down his hammer, the final sign that all of his attention is now on Zeke Elwood. “How much experience do you have with being a blacksmith?” “I don’t have any.” Is Zeke’s quick answer.“HAHAHAHAHA!’The old man began to laugh his heart out again. It’s obvious that Heimdal thinks that Zeke is joking. Who wouldn’t when, being a blacksmith by job class means that a person needs to have prior experience in the forge. A large amount of time to be exact which, humans don’t normally have the luxury of learning because of their
Zeke left after having a short discussion with Sylvia. He took all of the information that he needed from the female dark elf before he made his way outside the kingdom. The second time he’s doing this, with dangers being as unbelievably high as the first time that Zeke went out.Sylvia wanted to join him but, Zeke told her not to. The hero said that she would just get in the way. And though this may sound cocky and arrogant for Zeke to claim, the fact remains that he’s able to say this in the same tone that he’s always using when speaking with Sylvia. A tone that suggested that his plan will work and that, he’ll accomplish what he’s set out to do.Hence, Sylvia is left to simply aiding Zeke to the best of her abilities. Giving the hero a good cloak and armor, as well as the fastest horse that can be offered by the kingdom. And with all of these being granted, Zeke stormed off. A hero that’s going to fight all on his own – carrying the weight of the entire kingdom on his shoulders.Sy
Northern Wolves. These creatures are feared because of their nocturnal trait. In fact, some people even call them as nocturnal wolves. And, rightly so because, these wolves only choose to hunt at night. They are beasts who have proven themselves to be predators. Monsters that make mortals tremble at the sight of them – forced to flee as the wolves hunt them down. But Zeke isn’t like the masses.Instead of cowering away, he hid and waited for his chance to strike. His whole body is covered in mud to hide his scent and, he hides this even more by using the kobold blood that’s spread around. Making him completely undetectable as, the wolves continued going inside the lure that he made.A little bit more and these bastards would be at the perfect spot for him to kill them. Just a bit more and they would die by his hands. He knows that there is a great gap in their levels but, that doesn’t matter. As long as he’s properly prepared, everything will go according to his plans. And this finall
Zeke now sat in the middle of the forest, with all of the flames he set being extinguished by him as well. Unlike when he first set something on fire, he actually has a way to stop it this time around and, this is in the form of [Water Crystals]. This does the opposite of ignition crystals, these ones offer a rain of some sort. Not potent enough to be used as a weapon but, useful in cases of burning which, does happen to the kingdom of Forge every now and then. That’s why the kingdom has these stones in large quantities, as well as the ignition ones. That being said, Zeke is now viewing all of the rewards that came with the fight. Including the new skills that he gained because of this. Yet, unlike what he expected, it isn’t new skills that he gained. It’s upgrades.[The skill “Cheapshot” has upgraded!][You have acquired the skill Cheap Strike!][Information: Increases damage from cheap tricks and tactics by 50%][The skill “Swift” has upgraded!][You have acquired the skill Agility!
“Everyone else, leave.”Adeline ordered this as soon as the news arrived. This is the moment that I’ve mentioned earlier, when this great general actually throws away his rationality, all for the sake of getting a petty revenge against a hero who, isn’t even thinking of him at that moment.“Explain everything to me.” He sternly said. “Clearly.”“He’s here sir.” The soldier repeated. “The way that the scouts described it, he’s definitely the one that’s running towards the second horde that we sent. Black hair, slender build and, not being of the same race as the dark elves. That’s definitely him.”“What?!” The eyes of Adeline widened as he slammed his hand on the table. Getting up abruptly and making the chair that he was sitting on fall down. “You’re only telling me this now?”“D-Don’t you want him to die sir?” the confused soldier asked.“Of course I do you idiot! But I don’t want him getting killed by some random monsters!” Adeline stated. “He needs to die by my hands and, that has
Zeke found a stable place where he can lead the next set of monsters to. Another abandoned village that belongs to the Forge kingdom and, the reason why it’s abandoned is the same as every other place owned by this kingdom. It’s because this has been destroyed by the monsters that invaded. It’s no time to dwell on this unfortunate past though. The good thing is that Zeke doesn’t have to worry about where he has to fight. All that’s left is to wait for the monsters that should be arriving sometime soon. Zeke stayed at a spot near this village. He still has the horse that’s lent to him and, thankfully it isn’t killed yet because of all the fighting that went on. Naturally, Zeke has to ride on the animal to get back to the abandoned village quickly. For now though, all he did is wait for the monsters. He sat there patiently for a couple of hours. On top of the rundown wall until, his enemies finally appeared over the horizon.“What are those supposed to be?” Zeke muttered as he tried to
For a couple of seconds, the whole place is covered by nothing but a large cloud of smoke. One can see seeming parts of flesh and blood that flew outside the abandoned village. But the center of all this has yet to be seen. Still covered by the cloud of smoke that, began to diminish by the second. And with this happening, came a light that only a single person can see.[You leveled up.][You are now level 39][All wounds accumulated are now healed.]“Man, that was really close.” Zeke said as he got to his feet. There are holes on his clothes on the parts where he’s struck but, as far as damage goes, none can be seen on his body anymore. He’s as good as new. Just as he planned all of this to end. However, there is something that he did not expect. That is, him seeing one of the elves still alive. Gravely wounded with one arm and leg being blasted off but, nevertheless still alive. And as if this is some cruel twist of fate, Zeke sees that this is none other than the cocky elven general
Zeke went back to the kingdom on foot. Because he did this, it took him twice as long to come back. The horse he stole from the elves, as well as his own horse have both been killed. The same is true with all of the horses that the elves brought with them. Blown into thousand small pieces because of the explosions that Zeke’s mines set off.The thing that he used to make these are the lungs of these [Great Lizards]. For some reason, the lizards have something special within their lungs. That is, that the air within this is extremely flammable and, Zeke learned this when he read through a book about it. That being said, Zeke quickly understood that he can turn these into grenades but, he wanted to try something else with them if he could. That’s why he turned the items into landmines. Something that he had great success in doing. All of this led to Zeke’s victory and his journey back home that took him a whole day to finish. Taking stops along the way and killing as many monsters along
