The attack that the two dark elves unleashed isn’t something that came without any price. There is one. A big one to be exact. The thing is that, by forcing their arrows to pierce with the amount of strength that it did, they basically had to offer up half of the entirety of their mana pool. Aside from what they’ve already spent in that battle, they had to take this amount of mana out of the pool as well. Leaving them with virtually nothing more to spend. A single cast of their lowest grade spell, that is the only thing they can now use and, that is a bad thing in and off itself.

After all, this means that they have exhausted their reserves to an extent that they are now placing their very lives in risk of perishing. But that won’t happen because, now, these same dark elves can finally rest. With the fight finished, their bodies began to give up on them.
