The time for dinner soon approached for everyone. Zeke prepared his allies for this event. He made sure that Caster looked decent and, also ensured that Aries and Silver are wearing the right type of clothes. The hair, the nails, everything that can be fixed are done so by Zeke.As he did this, the queen also made her way to the dinning hall. Though she did stop in her room for a while. Sitting in front of the mirror as her lover fixed himself behind her.“Elizabeth. You know that I love you dearly and that I’d do anything for you but…”“Yes, you will do anything for me Sylph. That’s why you’re going to come with me to this dinner.” The queen replied. Cutting the other elf from whatever it was that he was about to say. After all, the queen knows that Sylph has a good way of playing with words. She can’t have this elf making her head run around in circles before they go to the dinning hall. “You don’t expect me to face those backwater dark elves all by myself do you? What if they sudd
Here is a full rundown of what happened before Queen Elizabeth and Sylph arrived at the ball that they’re hosting to humiliate the hero of the forge as well as his subordinates.Zeke and his allies came there early. Too early in fact that no other high ranking noble has arrived yet. What’s more, the preparations of the elves aren’t even finished yet. They were told to leave but Zeke insisted that they had nothing better to do and would rather just sit at a corner of the ball grounds instead of going back to their room. It’s easy to just ignore this and force Zeke to go back nevertheless but, there are two things that got Zeke’s back.First is that he is a hero. He isn’t just some normal run off the mill human. He is a human that’s destined to defeat the demon lord. Bestowed with the grace of a specific gone which grants him a portion of divinity as well. This in itself is already a strong enough reason for the elves to deny him entrance but, Zeke knows that it isn’t enough. That’s why
The doors of the ball room opened wide and with this came a strong gust of wind. The aura of something far beyond what a normal elf can conjure mixed alongside this. Making it impossible for everyone there to focus on Zeke Elwood anymore. Now the focus has shifted to the creature that just came in. The undeniable ruler of the elven kingdom and the absolute monarch who has stayed at the throne for a hundred or more years. The one and only Queen Elizabeth. The elves moved aside, creating a path that led to a single person. The one that caused all of this commotion in the first place. Zeke Elwood, the hero of Forge who is still holding on to his twin ego daggers filled with the blood of the elf whose arm he just cut off, is now gazing right at the eyes of Queen Elizabeth.“Your highness, it is my honor to see you in that wonderful dress tonight.” Zeke said as he bowed his head down. This simply made the whole situation escalate a lot more. Now, the bloodlust of Queen Elizabeth is direct
Zeke finished his whole explanation. He handed the whole of the events to the queen without missing a single detail. Giving out how things went down part by part. When all of this is over, there is a visible look of shock that’s left on the face of the queen. Her eyes widened and there is a gasp that seems to just be waiting to be released. Though this never happened and instead, the thing that left the queen’s lips is a question. One that begins with this:“Why…” Her voice trailed off. “It didn’t activate… but why?”You almost sound disappointed. These are the words running through Zeke’s head at that moment. Though he never let this come out of his lips. After all, he knows that talking this ill of the queen will only make things worse. He already has control over this situation, he’s only going to“Of course it won’t active. Why would it when I’m not even saying a single lie.” Zeke explained. “My queen, I answered everything truthfully. I am not the one who did a wrong here. It is
The doors slammed shut behind Zeke and his allies. They don’t have any interest going back to the ball. Other than them not actually being welcome there, Zeke knows that doing so would only add insult to injury, knowing that the queen of the kingdom has now been humiliated beyond compare. Though instead of feeling guilty about it, all of them are elated.“That was amazing my lord!” Caster exclaimed as soon as they are a couple of steps away from the doors of the place where the party is being held. Though Zeke doubts if there is any sort of party that can still be done after what just happened.“Quiet down. The elves might get a lot angrier if they hear you in that tone.” Silver warned as she elbowed Caster.“They can be angry all they want! There’s not a single hair on my skin that they can touch because of my lord!” Caster added, being the only one of the three dark elves who is outwardly showing just how much he is impressed by Zeke. The other two are the same of course, though the
The thing that Zeke expected is the very same thing that happened. Just as he thought and just as Sylvia feared, the elven kingdom withdrew their forces from the northern part of the border of the Forge kingdom. They aren’t even hiding their desire to forsake this post at all. They went as blatant with it as they can possibly do.Within a week after Zeke and his allies returned to the Forge kingdom, all of the elves get out of this place. The thing that they used as an excuse is that they are lacking manpower now. With the demon lord’s forces steadily increasing in size and power, the queen simply said that they need all of the help they can get if they are going to survive whatever it is that has yet to come. That is the entirety of the excuse that they are using. This should be a cause for concern and, it is. For the old Forge kingdom, this would be a big problem. After all, this is a land that’s built upon the belief that they aren’t strong enough to fend for themselves. That is th
Before all of this, Sylvia asked Zeke what his plan is. Sylvia asked if there is any reasonable explanation why Zeke is so sure that they will win. If there isn’t any, then this is the first ever instance where she will go against him. It’s too high of a risk. Too much of a gamble. This is the future of the Forge kingdom that is being placed as a gambling chip in what Zeke hopes to do. That is why Sylvia is heavily against it and, to this, Zeke has simple answers. One is that there’s nothing that can be done by Sylvia anymore. Apologizing to the elven kingdom will not bring any sort of good outcome. The damage has been done and if they try to mend it at that point, Zeke’s sure that the elven kingdom will just begin asking more and more from them. Something that will be more detrimental to the Forge kingdom.“We cannot let them keep on picking on us. This is where we draw the line.” These are the words that Zeke said to Sylvia who is still reluctant to accept the current state of affai
From a distance, everyone bore witness to what Zeke accomplished. They witnessed a large crystal like object suddenly rise to the sky. Enclosing the whole of the monsters that marched towards the kingdom of Forge…not all of them but most. Leaving nothing more than around twenty or even less that has to face the dark elves. This instantly made the monsters back away. With their numbers dwindled down to such a size, they have lost any and all confidence that they can still win. But they aren’t getting out that easily. Right as the Chamber is casted, Zeke released his smoke bombs as well. Scattering them across the battlefield during the rise of the hurricane of purple mana and using this as a tool to spread the bombs in the air. That’s why right as this ended and right as the Chamber is created, the bombs activated. Just the way that Zeke intended it to happen. This prevented the remainder of the monsters from escaping. Leaving them there to be dealt with by three dark elves that are n
