Zeke’s allies continued to recover. They took a couple of days to do this which wasn’t wasted or anything. The group continued their way towards the elven kingdom, taking up the same route that is within the forest. They didn’t take any detour anymore because of the reason that Zeke raised to them.He told them that it is highly unlikely for a new group to attack them because, the first one seemed to be an elite corps already that’s been sent as the only means of stopping Zeke and his allies. This already failed so Zeke doubts that there would be a next one after that. His allies easily subscribed to this idea because it is right. They made their way on the path and, as they did, they continued recovering. Due to the lack of enemies, this came smoothly and without any delays. Furthermore, they also became stronger because of the same medicine that Zeke gave them. Ones that have this description:[Item Name: Mana Elixir][Item Type: Medicine][Information: Only has an effect on those w
A gigantic tree. That is the first thing that Zeke noticed when they arrived in the kingdom of the elves. Within the middle of the kingdom is a tree that is larger and taller than anything he has ever encountered and, that in itself would be an understatement to how large it is.To be more precise, it is like a skyscraper but a bulk of ten that’s put together. That is how wide the space it consumes is and, that is how high it goes as well. Needless to say this is a natural roof to everything that it covers. Not the whole of the kingdom for that would be too much but, rather, the middle of it. The center of the kingdom which, Zeke believes, is also where the castle of the Elven monarchs is located. He's already been given a briefing by Sylvia on what he’s to expect in this place. Zeke knows that the monarch isn’t someone whom he should get into a heated argument with. The elven king is a seasoned warrior and probably the best swordsman in the entirety of the elven kingdom while, the qu
The group unpacked their things in the room that’s assigned to them. There are a total of two rooms given. One is for Zeke’s allies while the other one is for Zeke himself. However, the hero of Forge immediately requested that this be changed and that, they all stay in a single room. His reason for this is because they won’t be staying there long. He told them that since this is so, it would be better for them to be together. That way they won’t consume too much space and would also be less problematic for the elves to tend to after they leave. The elves agreed to this easily. There’s no reason for them to go against it when it is in their favor. The less space that the dark elves use up in their kingdom, the better it is for them. That is the thought behind it and, of course, the queen agreed to it as well.As for the real reason why they’re doing it however, Zeke wanted this to make sure that all four of them are safe. Now that they are inside enemy territory, it would be easy for t
“My lord!”This is the greeting made to Zeke as soon as he came back to the room where his allies stayed at. He told them to fix themselves there and to refuse any sort of room service or food that’d be offered until he returns. Though this may seem like being too cautious, Zeke just can’t afford making any mistakes at that point. Even if just one of his three allies get killed from something like food poisoning or other methods, that’s already a victory on the part of the elves. He doesn’t want that. He doesn’t want to give the bastards the kind of satisfaction that can come from it. That’s why he’s being this meticulous. That being said, Silver is the first one to greet him when he arrived. She did so in such an upbeat tone that you’d think Zeke just came back from the dead or something. But nothing that dramatic ever happened. It was just a normal conversation with the queen of the elves nothing more. “How did the meeting go with the queen, my lord?” Aries asked.“Well…” Zeke cl
The time for dinner soon approached for everyone. Zeke prepared his allies for this event. He made sure that Caster looked decent and, also ensured that Aries and Silver are wearing the right type of clothes. The hair, the nails, everything that can be fixed are done so by Zeke.As he did this, the queen also made her way to the dinning hall. Though she did stop in her room for a while. Sitting in front of the mirror as her lover fixed himself behind her.“Elizabeth. You know that I love you dearly and that I’d do anything for you but…”“Yes, you will do anything for me Sylph. That’s why you’re going to come with me to this dinner.” The queen replied. Cutting the other elf from whatever it was that he was about to say. After all, the queen knows that Sylph has a good way of playing with words. She can’t have this elf making her head run around in circles before they go to the dinning hall. “You don’t expect me to face those backwater dark elves all by myself do you? What if they sudd
Here is a full rundown of what happened before Queen Elizabeth and Sylph arrived at the ball that they’re hosting to humiliate the hero of the forge as well as his subordinates.Zeke and his allies came there early. Too early in fact that no other high ranking noble has arrived yet. What’s more, the preparations of the elves aren’t even finished yet. They were told to leave but Zeke insisted that they had nothing better to do and would rather just sit at a corner of the ball grounds instead of going back to their room. It’s easy to just ignore this and force Zeke to go back nevertheless but, there are two things that got Zeke’s back.First is that he is a hero. He isn’t just some normal run off the mill human. He is a human that’s destined to defeat the demon lord. Bestowed with the grace of a specific gone which grants him a portion of divinity as well. This in itself is already a strong enough reason for the elves to deny him entrance but, Zeke knows that it isn’t enough. That’s why
The doors of the ball room opened wide and with this came a strong gust of wind. The aura of something far beyond what a normal elf can conjure mixed alongside this. Making it impossible for everyone there to focus on Zeke Elwood anymore. Now the focus has shifted to the creature that just came in. The undeniable ruler of the elven kingdom and the absolute monarch who has stayed at the throne for a hundred or more years. The one and only Queen Elizabeth. The elves moved aside, creating a path that led to a single person. The one that caused all of this commotion in the first place. Zeke Elwood, the hero of Forge who is still holding on to his twin ego daggers filled with the blood of the elf whose arm he just cut off, is now gazing right at the eyes of Queen Elizabeth.“Your highness, it is my honor to see you in that wonderful dress tonight.” Zeke said as he bowed his head down. This simply made the whole situation escalate a lot more. Now, the bloodlust of Queen Elizabeth is direct
Zeke finished his whole explanation. He handed the whole of the events to the queen without missing a single detail. Giving out how things went down part by part. When all of this is over, there is a visible look of shock that’s left on the face of the queen. Her eyes widened and there is a gasp that seems to just be waiting to be released. Though this never happened and instead, the thing that left the queen’s lips is a question. One that begins with this:“Why…” Her voice trailed off. “It didn’t activate… but why?”You almost sound disappointed. These are the words running through Zeke’s head at that moment. Though he never let this come out of his lips. After all, he knows that talking this ill of the queen will only make things worse. He already has control over this situation, he’s only going to“Of course it won’t active. Why would it when I’m not even saying a single lie.” Zeke explained. “My queen, I answered everything truthfully. I am not the one who did a wrong here. It is
